Should owners of Reach DLC Get something?

I ask because it just seems those who actually got every last peace of it were stiffed.
They got it expecting the ability to play it, but in stead further and further down the line they were disappointed constantly, and while you may say its their fault for buying it its also your fault for not getting it to support the dlc.
You half to admit the DLC was tempting seeing as its maps were so much more then the vanilla reach ones.
I just think they deserve somthing
Maybe 100 MS points off halo 4 dlc
Maybe a AR skin
Maybe a halo 5 beta pass.
I dont know?
Post what you believe.

I disagree completely.

we already got something, some shiny new maps to use in reach.

I got all the maps and I don’t think I “deserve” anything. I paid for maps, I got maps.

The strange thing is that nobody picks the DLC maps on selection. Anchor 9 is so much better than the Uncage… That makes it harder to get the DLC, but thankfully, I played my fair on the DLC.

And no, I don’t think we should get something more than we bought for. We bought what we wanted, not what we want after.

I don’t “Half to admit” anything.

There is no refunds for DLC. It says it on the window when you buy it. So no, they don’t have to give us anything.

They shouldn’t get anything at all, just because hardly anybody has all the DLC doesn’t mean they should reward those who purchased all DLC.

Owners of halo 3/wars dlc never got anything so no.

Please, no more exclusives.

> Owners of halo 3/wars dlc never got anything so no.

Most of Halo 3’s Multiplayer is impossible to play without the DLC.

I agree I feel shafted about not being able to play my DLC maps unless I randomly get matched up with 7 other people out of 50,000 online that actually have the maps, even then. They almost never get voted for.

Do we deserve something for buying the DLC? We paid for maps, got maps.

Should 343i at least give us an apology for shafting us like this? Yes.

Would it harm anyone if this said apology was in a content form like OP suggests? Nope.

It makes me furious because Reach maps are terrible… Countdown and Zealot are decent maps… Why? Because they’re symmetrical. All other maps are terrible, like Sword Base, but all the Halo: Reach DLC maps are beautiful, fun to play on, and I would bet anything on, if the Halo Reach original disc came with maps like Tempest, or highlands. Reach wouldn’t have been such a disappointment.

Wait, didn’t we already get something?

No.

You got the maps you paid for.

The owners of Halo 3’s DLC didn’t get anything in Reach, so I see no reason for this to happen. You paid for the maps, and you got them. It’s not Microsoft’s fault that hardly anyone bought Reach’s DLC.

No first of all REACH was garbage so a lot of us didnt buy the DLC maps. Second Bungie always did a terrible job when it came to DLC maps because they never showed up as much as they should have in any of the HALO games. You were forced to play certain playlists for the most part which sucked.

I hope this isnt this issue with HALO 4. Third this is a 343 game not a bungie game and if i was 343 id try to seperate myself from REACH as much as i could. I hate to say this but after REACH was released Bungie took the money and ran.

To this day I will never understand why people choose broken maps like uncage over DLC maps. Reach’s DLC maps are nothing but a tragic story as it is rare to play on it on reach let alone coming into a lobby full of people with the DLC. And these same beautiful maps are not going to be seen again as we move on to Halo 4. I pray that this history does not repeat itself.

I believe that the people who have certain Halo achievements should if anything get something exclusive through Waypoint.

I don’t really care for Countdown, and I just don’t like Zealot’s aesthetics. Powerhouse and Asylum are probably my favorite default maps, although to be fair, Asylum is a remake.

Aside from Forge, I never saw the appeal of Tempest, and in all Highlands games I’ve been in everyone ends up with their own shotgun somehow. Although, Anchor 9 is pretty good for 2v2 or 3v3, but it feels too small for anything else. Not sure how to feel about that other map that took place on some space station, since it is very rarely played.

The only thing we DLC owners should get is our own category, perhaps you could mix it with Anniversary and just call it “DLC”.

It’d go like this:

DLC Slayer: 4v4, TU Slayer or TU Slayer DMRs on Anchor 9, Condemned, Battle Canyon, Penance, High Noon, and Solitary.
DLC Squad: 5v5, Combines TU Slayer and TU Objective gametypes. Same maps as above, 'cept Anchor 9 is replaced with Tempest
Anniversary Slayer: Stays the same as before.
DLC BTB: 8v8, has both TU BTB and Anniversary BTB, along with Tempest, Ridgeline, Highlands and Breakneck.

Can i share my opinion on this?
Yes,i think that owners of any DLC of Reach deserve something
No,anything that you have posted
Why?
Okay,Yes,because the epeople who bought the DLC´s while there was a DLC Playlist are happy wiht this
But people liek me,who bought the DLC after the Playlist were removed are completly upset for this
I have pay 20? bucks for the second DLC and i have only played 1 map online and when that happened my entire team were AFK so i was blaming the entire Bungie
No,becasue,it doesnt matter how upset or angry us are,we dont deserve more for paying for a DLC
I think that we deserve…something…dunno, but anything that give us something that people that havent bought the DLC´s arent going to get
Maybe a name plate or something, but that doesnt affect to the game

Reach DLC Players got a valuable lesson on the nature of digital purchases.
