I don’t know about you guys, but I love myself some odst. The game’s music was so sad and mysterious, and it always just had this air of epicness to it. The fact that it was so much more difficult than halo 3 made it feel like you weren’t just running around shooting aliens and laughing when one yells “He killed flipyap!” Of course, now that I made that non-joke people are gonna say I’m hating on halo 3. That’s fun. Anyway, I always thought it would be awesome if they delved deeper into the stealth and open world aspect. Of course, the whole loneliness and quiet theme would remain intact, but there could be side missions where you find out about them through random data files. It would, of course, remain similar to the first in that you collect clues about something that happened and then get to play through them, but maybe with even more mystery. They could encourage exploration with a skill tree in which you gain points by scanning computers or whatever, and way more of those audio files and maybe the occasional written note. If co-op and firefight remained intact, I would be so excited if I heard that odst was being revamped like that. AWWWW YEAH! What do you think? Do you agree with my idea of a cool odst sequel? It would be cool as long as they did more with the human element. Halo 3: ODST still felt very “spartan like” in the way you played with the exception of the removal of the regenerating shield, but other than that it was cool.
I wouldn’t want one for the sake of having it, but if there’s a good opportunity in the story, sure, bring it on!
Negative, we don’t need another ODST. The game itself was just Bungie fulfilling Microsofts contract obligation to create 2 more Halo games after Halo 3.

Totally love that idea reason most people were hating on it was because it didnt do pvp and was PvE. Now dont get me wrong master chief is cool and all but myself and many friends that i still play ODST with like the silent killing and silencers and stuff. Plus seriously the ODSTs look badass in their gear and H4s ODST armour makes them look like a clown IMO. Most often when it comes to playing together online we would rather play ODST firefight for 8hrs than play any of Halo 4 because of the open world the fact that the maps respond to a character being near it like the doors. I also personally love to find out the background stories in games. Hope they decide to both remake for current gen and create a sequel.

I’d love to have another ODST, but with the general community in mind I doubt 343i would run with a full priced game in mind if they started a sequel.
I would prefer a Halo: Reach sequel, where you play as Jun.

ODST should get sequel as the game was great .
I know a lot of people didn’t like it because you didn’t play as a Spartan but I think that added some fun to it .
The only major improvement needed if ODST 2 was made is that it need a proper match making system because not having one is what let it down for me

I would love a sequel for ODST, the setting for it was great and the change from gunning everything you see down to stealth was a great turn around for the games series.
