Right now, i don’t know. There are some issues being discussed with the whole -Yoink!- gaming thing (they have the rights to run Halo tournaments) and the fact that Halo 4’s future on the Circuit is in the air (MLG only wants one shooter).
BO II has a good chance to be on the Circuit because of one thing; Developer. Support.
Things like League play (ranked) and Spectator mode make BO II an attractive title to have as competitive shooter on the Circuit. Plus, and this is THE BIGGEST -Yoinking!- thing it has going for it.
Unlike Halo, their community support is not big, it’s not even huge. It’s -Yoinking!- GIGANTIC and this shows with the colossal viewership on both streams and youtube videos. More viewership and involvement=higher stream numbers, and higher stream numbers= more profit. That in turn makes BO II a much more attractive option to invest in.
All Halo has going for it is the skill gap and the fact that Halo has an amazing, rooted history with MLG (not to mention amazing competitive support via maps and settings). However, the viewership is amazingly low and the only who pulls decent numbers is Ninja (due to his great personality). The fact we can’t decide on what competitive settings to use is also a bad thing (V1 settings are very controversial while Gold Pro is using modded gametypes)
Halo 4 has no development support whatsoever on the E-sport side when it comes to being picked up by MLG. That’s the price of rushing out your game for holiday sales and as we now, the competitive Halo scene has to suffer for it. I don’t like painting this picture for Halo 4’s competitive future but that’s how it is. Halo 4 is NOT a game that makes sense for MLG to invest in.
So if Halo 4 doesn’t make the cut, you’ll at least know why.
Most Def. 343i and Halo 4 now need to keep working and perfecting their new CSR ranking system, I feel like they are ready to unleash hell upon these gamers but it the single greatest mistake that they can make if it all goes down hill.
We need the feel of competitive play and I believe that Halo 4 won’t be to its fullest until REAL COMPETITIVE GAMING is inlisted.

MLG? noooo ranks? noooo regional net filter? noooo team snipers? noooo less autoaim? noooo less magnetism? noooo… What happen with people here? Not like play competitive? NOT PLAY.
