Should MC die from disease?

I’m not talking about anything to do with flood infection I mean actual human sickness. Most spartans are MIA when they die but I think they’ll want to do something orginal for MC when he dies, possibly he will have cancer during the new trilgy and it will finaly claim his life by the end of Halo6. While playing the previous games and reading the books I’d say MC has most likely contracted some kind of disease, whether it is something serious or just something like diabetes or alzheimer’s I’m not sure but I think it’s pretty much inevitable that some kind of virus will be the end of him.
Discuss.

Sounds too much like Metal Gear Solid 4 to me. If anything, I’d love to see the chief retire and spend the rest of his life in peace on a farm in the middle of a peaceful planet or something. He deserves it.

NO

How very anticlimactic. :frowning:

I think MC should meet god that would be epic

Cancer is easily treatable in 2553. Baird had it in Midlothian. The ship’s AI was able to treat it by itself in a matter of hours.

If he were to die i would expect him to die with honor like saving the lives of thousands by sacrificing his own or die because he got overrun. I would actually rather him live than die though he deserves a vacation lol. when im done school I hope to go in the video game industry as I have so many ideas for games. I want to make a trilogy where its similar to Halo except the humans only have Earth as there planet and at the end of the trilogy the alien race has complete control over Earth and your team is the last ones alive but at the end your team is attacked and you struggle to survive you kill hundreds but inevitably you all die. So in the end of the trilogy you lose rather than you winning like usual.

It wouldn’t happen, because disease has already pretty much been crushed by then-modern science.

Disease should die from Master Chief, obviously.

Master chief discovers that this new world hid an unimmaginable secret of epic proportions.

for days he made his way through this new world finding clues of what had happened and possible outcome to his new destiny. through halo 4 and 5, the player is aluded to the chiefs deteriorating mental state and things appear that cannot physically exist. throughout halo 5 it is revealed that chief is more human than he was percieved as and his mental situation only gets worse and Cortana’s rampancy setting in is not helping.

In halo 6 the secret is revealed that all of the halo universe is but a dream and that he is in a drug induced state of vegetation.
DHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
<insert inception music here>

A man too dangerous too keep sober one who displays the killing effieciency at a hyper lethal vector level. Johnson, Keyes and Miranda Keyes were victims of his lethality and the reason John was caged and hid away from society. These killings were a product of Johns mentally ill state and delusions. The covenant itself was a mirage and in fact were UNSC ships, the chief not knowing brutally murdered 1000’s of innocent people thinking of them as covenant.Cortana being a culmination of love lost and a mirror of John saddistic mother only helped push him into this state. The halo array and the ark all figments of John’s explicit delusions. this man is purely sick but it is the only hing keeping him from being executed for his crimes against humanity.

John unable to move is trapped in his mind reflecting on the events of the halo universe. A fate truly worse than death.
The arbiter however, an actual being but not alien breaks into the facility and frees John of his shackles. John and the Arby set off on an adventure and flee earth. Until the UNSC puts a bounty on their heads and frees chuck norris from his cryo tube. Knowing that Chuck Norris was the only other human to reach the hyper lethal vector killing efficiency level.

Chuck Norris proceeds to kill arbiter and the ultimate duel begins as the chief and Norris square off.

thats how the chief dies.

Master Chief can only die from suicide! Like he’ll ever do that. Master Chief so tuff, he can light fire with ICE… UNDER WATER!

Cancer was cured.

That also sounds like MGS4.

Chief must never die.

One thing I hate about each one of these threads that ask how Halo should end, they all say its bound to happen or its the most likely possibility or its inevitable. Pleas don’t say something stupid like that, its an idea not official freaking canon.

nah i hope chief ends up being retired or something in the end of the trilogy if they do cut him out in the end maybe living somewhere helping out people who are finally claiming the rest of the forerunners technology and on a newly discoverd forerunner homeworld (however the new stories going to go) or retiring from being an active combat spartan to train other new recruit spartan IIIs on a shield world or a forerunner world? and since cortanas ship was the autumn and it got destroyed maybe she could end up on the same planet studying the forerunner planet and tech on that planet where MC is and they could sort of be together that way (come on they’ve been through a hell of a lot together lol)

and Lol at assaultmonk3y i hope it doesn’t end like that just me though :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s a terrible way to end Master Chief. I’d much rather have him go down like Keyes or some other epic -Yoink- like that.

MC should sacrifice himself to protect the galaxy from the flood or whatnot. Would be an epic way to see him leave and have the series end.

if he is going to die he should go out like noble six but better

Love it.
