Should kill-cam be an option?

Idk if killcam is really a option in the game but seems like its not. If its not a option then should it be one like a toggleable one?

If its not I say it should, some people just may not like kill-cams and some may. The only thing someone would miss when the kill-cam option is turned off is missing out on how they died, they should be able to view the final victory kill if killcam is off though.

This makes sense, but we have to do things 343’s way. There is no alternative because bungie hasn’t released their next game yet.

They should not exist in the first place. I do not want to watch the last person who killed me miss every shot they fire at me EVERY SINGLE TIME I DIE. Latency ruins it and it does not belong here.

The original death screen and the ability to cycle through your team mates was far FAR more useful.

its available in the custom game options so future games can be adjusted accordingly. however it still serves as a method to see where and how your death was achieved, so your not left completely in the dark when you wonder who and what killed you.

It should not exist at all.

End of.

+1

Just think about it for a little while. Try to understand 343’s reasoning.

When we had a system before that let you pan around when dead, and cycle through teammates to see where they are, why then do you think they added a killcam? What gameplay does it add? Do you think if CoD didn’t exist, it would have been added to Halo 4?

not sure if you guys are aware, but you can just press ‘x’ and it skips the killcam, allowing you to cycle to team mates, and your dead body

ive done it many times, on accident as well.

Optional, or not in at all.

I never watch it unless its a really “WTF just happened” moment, and even then its not as useful as the death cams of past Halos.

I don’t find the tactical advantage or importance of watching you die again over and over when your teamates are getting hit and enemies are on the move.

Yes I always skip it - but I dont like that others use it to then make a bee line back to me to get revenge

I also liked that you had a few seconds to stop and think about what happened and compose yourself before respawning

But guys we need the killcam! How else would we ever know how we died after it has happened?!

Oh yeah, Theater.

I just outsmarted 343.

Maybe the kill-cam aint a bad idea. When people t-bag your body you wont know. Unless you skip it.

Though some people are saying T-bagging is dead and yada yada but I dont think it is, I could be wrong I dont have the game but still.

Kinda ads interest though when you kill a enemy wondering if they will do everything they can to find you and get revenge served up with high tech balls to the face.

He has a point there. Thats what I used whenever I was like wtf how did I die?
