I don’t think he should have been
As much as I like Jorge, he shouldn’t have been Noble Leader. He plays into his emotions too much, which isn’t a bad thing, but as a leader you have to get past your emotions to not make grave choices that will hurt your team. Carter was very straightforward and didn’t sugarcoat anything. And he was willing to lay down his life for his team, but everyone on Noble Team did that (except for Kat lol). But Jorge will always be my favorite Noble Team member.
Kat should’ve been. If you look at Halo: Reach again, Kat’s the one who comes up with the plans most of the time, and the one who gives you, the player, the most orders, and spends the most time alongside you.
I feel like carter was perfect to be the leader. From the way he talked, to the way he made his choices, hell even the way his face looked, he LOOKED like a commander. He didn’t let his emotions get the best of him like Jorge, he wasn’t sneaking classified material like Kat, he wasn’t letting brazen adrenaline and confidence get the best of him like Emile. He was calm and collected.

The way I saw it, Jorge-052 was better suited as the guy who would support you with a big gun. Especially looking at the “adjustments” he made to his armor, especially with that large pack (ammo?) on his back. Jorge is more fitted to a combat role even though it can be argued that Jorge has more experience fighting the Covenant compared to Carter, but that is just my opinion.
Experience Fighting =/= Leadership Qualities (Again my opinion)
How long was it until the Spartan-III program while the Spartan-II’s were in the field early in the war.

Yep sure as a Spartan 2 he has the most experience and all spartan 2s were great leaders. He also speaks a second language.
