With the departing of Elites from Multiplayer, what will happen to Invasion? Invasion is my favorite part about Reach! I can’t stand to see such a great playlist with more potential then what its showing go away. The way I figure it is that the Infinity is basically simulations, so why not simulate Invasion? Thats wishful thinking on my part. So would you want to see Invasion return? Hopefully we will have an answer at E3.
If Invasion was possible, they wouldn’t have said that there are no Elites in MP. But, since they said that there are no Elites in MP, and that includes Spartan Ops, Forge, Theatre, Custom Games, and MM, Invasion won’t be back.
At least not like it is in Reach.
Invasion could be Spartan vs Spartan. I want it to return. It was actually fun.

It was one of the most played objective games in Reach and just because there are no elites doesn’t mean it cant happen.
Invasion played like a gametype that needed work in the Beta and then when they released the full game nothing changed.
If they work on it, then it can stay.

Invasion is amazing. It’s what keeps me playing Halo: Reach. Sadly, it is way too competitive to be enjoyed thoroughly, so it is not enjoyed by the masses. Thus, it probably won’t be in Halo 4.

And what about the new enemy? The simulator on Infinity would simulate an invasion match between Spartans. I think it will be back with Spartans v Spartans.
Elites or not Invasion in itself is too good a game type to just cut from Halo. Invasion was fantastic and I still play the hell out of it. It NEEDS to be back in Halo 4 in some way shape or form.

New enemy is avible in Halo 4 MP.
I always wanted to make invasion spartan v spartan. Hopefully its still there.
I’d like an advanced and more cinematic invasion in some Spartan op missions.

The only map added was breakppint, and it was taken out of the default invasion for who knows what reason…
If they bring it back, it NEEDS more map support. Bungie put so much emphasis on it for reach and we only got two default maps.
Why do some people think elites are required for invasion? Bungie just used invasion as a way to highlight the new elites in Reach, they are not necessary. Invasion can and would work fine spartan v. spartan so I hope it comes back.
Since Elites are out Invasion has no place. Even if their is another playable race.
Possibly, but I would imagine it would change a bit. Instant spawning wouldn’t work with the ability to spawn on a partner, as the attacking team wouldn’t be punished for dying. Also, custom loadouts wouldn’t work with the progressively better loadouts.
I expect to see something ‘inspired’ by Invasion.

Its very possible, just because the US isn’t at war with another country doesn’t mean we don’t run training drills to simulate an invasion.
