I say it all the time, Halo Infinite is just Destiny 3. Thing is, I have no idea where these glowing lines came from. In Destiny and Destiny 2, when you look at an enemy or zoom at them, the enemy name and health bar appear, but otherwise they don’t, and Destiny 2 is loaded with armor customization and shaders, but it just works fine for whatever reason. I never had a problem telling teammates from enemies because of this, and they don’t turn the teams fully red and blue either.
343 could disable outlines, show names and health bars when you look at and shoot at enemies (in the colors you chose), and make the outlines only appear when you Smart Link zoom at an enemy or they have been shot at and their overshield glows as usual. That allows you to check bushes and corners for campers at a glance if you think you saw someone, but doesn’t have people brightly glowing across the map.
Vote and discuss below, and leave feedback if you also played Destiny and think Infinite is so much like Destiny 2 that it may as well just add name bars.
- Keep the outlines
- Switch to name bars
