Not sure 2022 is enough. From what I’ve seen there not remotely ready and they had a year delay to get ready and they weren’t. The fact that they made false claims about the progression system and lack of content and how broken the multiplayer online is…I’d say this game shouldn’t have come out till 2024/2025. I haven’t really been interested to play Infinite in nearly 8 months and I’ve seen no sign of the game improving or any sign of any major changes to the games that makes me want to rush back.
At the very least I believe 343i need new management since I strongly feel like it’s being poorly managed and I’m deeply worried for the future of the IP. I’ve had my complaints about games like H4-5 but this the 1st time I’m genuinely concerned for the future of the series as a whole.
Nope, It should have been handed over to a competent company. Delaying the wouldn’t have change anything knowing how vary poorly 343 has handled Infinite.
That quote also came from a time when you could not update games, fix bugs found post launch, or release DLC.
Halo MCC was very clearly rushed, but I don’t see people calling it bad now.
the diffrend between Blam engine there have use for halo 5 and Slipspace Engine there use for halo infinite tell me really notting at all if there use in the slipspace engine things from the blam engine.
but in the end its still the same thing that a game engine most work good with things and you have sure day’s that things not wane work good with each other that it take’s long time to find the problem and fix it to make a good game engine that works good to use to make a game from it.
Regardless if the game was released when it was or next year, I believe much of the fan base still wouldn’t be satisfied. We are here now and the game is released. Personally, I’m massively excited for upcoming game modes and how they’ll be implemented with Infinite’s excellent gameplay.
Doesn’t mean I have stopped playing entirely. I’m still buying from the shop and watching tourneys. Life has changed for me recently, and I haven’t played more than an hour or two of anything in weeks (much to the chargrin of a couple of my friends). When I get the opportunity to play again, I sure will.
Edit: Oh yeah, if you saw my profile then you must have seen my cute wolf profile picture! I just can’t figure out how to get that into my community picture.
With the pace they’re working at, literally nothing has changed. What do you expect them to have changed between then and now? If it was delayed 8 months, it’d still be broken.
Halo Infinite should have launched the time that it did but with the game preview tag, and it should still have that tag applied to it until campaign coop and forge are released and proven functional.
At least Christmas 2022. Hell, the game should have been delayed even further, since I doubt they would have even had it ready by then. Could have just released the game early as a Beta, been explicit that their development is slow and behind, and basically just have the game in TTS mode.
I’m not convinced that the game would have a sufficient amount of launch content even if they would’ve delayed it to 2022. We’ve seen the 2022 roadmap and it doesn’t seem like much more will be added when Season 3 rolls around. The developer is very much understaffed and the development was mismanaged for years. We are where we are. This was the trajectory when the leadership decided to manage development the way they did.
At least 2022 yes. Halo Infinite should never have launched on Xbox One consoles as well as this is a major root cause for desync. However I understand the decision from a business perspective.
i not know about you but a lot off people still wane buy the xbox serie’s X but there cant since its always sold out in the store’s.
and there not going to buy it from scraplers for a big asking price there are asking and then is also a high risk you get scam with it also.
so companys have no choose to make the game’s also for the xbox one since the serie’s X is something a lot off people wane have.
One issue here, Microsoft didn’t know that there was going to be a massive pandemic in 2020 that would disrupt the global supply chain. So they couldn’t forecast the current Xbox Series X|S shortages.
the series S has no shortages the only reason for that is that nobody wane buy a digital only console that has no disc function.
so there go’s all the game’s you have on disc more with the series S.
basic normal you got it 100% right that after the new serie’s off xbox console has launch that developers stop making game’s on the old gen from the xbox.
