So I’m sitting on about 8 gold packs… should I wait until my silvers are done??? I’m torn!!!
Personally I would if I was close but if I wasn’t close then the temptation would be to great for me
I’m 58 now so I have a bit to go… maybe I should compromise and open half of them.
I finished my silvers around level 85. At level 58 I’m guessing you still have quite a few rares and uncommons left. You could try them now, and you might get lucky. But keep in mind, if you do get an ultra rare or legendary certification, you’ll have to open more gold packs to get more of those REQs since silvers only go up to rare REQs. So you won’t be getting any more than the first three of them that the cert gives you until you’re done with the silver grind. Or you might get an ultra rare or legendary armor. But I think I’d personally wait.

I know you are right. The couple gold packs I have opened have been far from spectacular. The temptation is strong though.
You’ll get something cool either way but… You got a point and I hadn’t thought of it tbh.

Well thanks for the input guys. I just wish they would implement a double rp weekend so I can get there a little sooner cuz these packs are going to burn a hole in my pocket.
I still need around 70 silver packs to unlock all rare and below but I opened my Firefight gold packs anyway 
I got alot of rare/uncommon stuff I still hadn’t unlocked but did get some nice ultra rare and Legendary gear including the Halo 2 Battle Rifle loadout weapon

It’s probably best to wait, even tho it’s tempting. Wait til’ you get about 80-100 of the armors/helmets collected. Once you’re around there, you’re much more likely to get ultrarare-legendary.
