Should i sell Reqs???

In my region i can not play warzone pvpve but i can play firefight, so i find that i don’t really need reqs to win that mode (except mythic last week). So i should sell them to unlock stuff faster so i can progress through the pack teirs faster.

Is this logic sound? If kills increase req point earnings then i can see keeping reqs with high kill potential maybe worth it, can earn more points with use than by selling; but i haven’t noticed a diffetence between my no req vs use req firefight matches.

I feel like i’m missing something?

This explains how req points are earned.

Some more info.

Personally, I always have, and still do, sell 95% of my REQs. Unless it’s very good REQs that I know I’ll use often (tanks, Banshees, Ghosts, Wasps, Phaetons, Blood of Suban, Whiplash), I’ll never keep more than 5 or so individual REQs of any weapon/vehicle. And on top of that, I sell every copy of a REQ that I know I’ll never use (tier 1 weapons, all Warthogs/Mongooses, all turrets) as well as every XP boost or power up. This actually boosted my unlock rate by so much, and I ended up unlocking everything by SR110 or so without paying for packs with real money. To me, there is no point in keeping REQs that I’ll never use.

Plus, it’s worth your time, as I’m sure you know, to buy silver packs first until you’ve unlocked every common to rare REQ (when packs start giving back RP instead of unlocks) before moving to golds.

I sold a lot of the useless Reqs I don’t use yesterday I gotta say it’s worth it because you get those Reqs easily

Yes. I get a TON of needlers and basic warthogs, so I just sell those. For me it seems like when I sell a bunch of something, they drop less out of packs. I keep the stuff I know I’ll use (scorpions, wasps, banshees, snipers etc.) and sell everything else. (Sometimes keeping a few if I want to switch things up)

I stockpiled everything and had hundreds of reqs I. Rarely used. I think I sold roughly 15k reqs and got 500k+ points out of it. I still left a small number of each item in my arsenal and then left certain ones I used frequently just so I had plenty to burn through.
