Should I Sell My Equipment?

If you never use anything but loadout weapons and random cards, what’s the point of having specific cards? Should I sell all of them or keep them just in case?

Do both. Sell everything except for three of each kind. That way if you feel inclined you can break out the power weapon.

If you never use them, I don’t see a problem with selling them. However, if you have even the smallest thought of using a given weapon in Warzone, there’s no harm in stockpiling a few. I don’t use too many REQs personally unless playing with a team so that I can optimize their usage, but I try to keep around 10-15 or so of any given REQ saved up just in case. Plus, unless you have a ton of them, 50-100 REQ points here and there won’t make a huge difference in the long run as far as purchases go.

If it’s things I never, ever ever use or don’t like (Plasma casters for example) I instantly sell them as soon as I get them. However, I do go through cycles of “Oh I wish I had more of ” and then get a bit butthurt when I don’t have something in Warzone that I wanted.

tl;dr: sell it if you’ll never use it.

Since they changed the req level speed in warzone I keep a bit more stuff because I use it up so fast, but I still sell all the lower tier versions of weapons.

I sold 50 wraiths the other night. If you don’t use it, what’s the point of not cashing it in?

If you aren’t using it, sell it, get REQ points and unlock armors or more loadout options.

I agree with everyone else, only sell the REQs if you’re certain you won’t use them. If you feel like you may want to use a few REQ cards, I’d say to save maybe 2-5 of the ones you feel you might use.

I would, and I do. Especially if it’s a weapon or vehicle you completed a commendation for. But I also try to keep a few of the weapons I find useful for situations.

I sell down to x10 of everything, except for weapons/vehicles I actually like using. I sell all random cards, most boosts & power ups except for a few.

Im really only interested in the loadout weapons and permanent unlocks. So I will sell most until im done with req grind. At that point I’ll stock up.

I keep roughly 20 of everything weapon wise. I only keep 5 of each mongoose, gungoose, scout, and standard warthog. Everything else I use very frequently. In retrospect, I wish I hadn’t sold those 50+ needlers I once had… those things rock.

I sell all non-Oni Scout Hogs and Mongooses, and most of the warthogs too. I try to keep around 20+ of each weapon, even if I don’t use it anymore like the needler. When I drop to 10 of an item that I like I feel like I need to slow down on that one. But now that I’m closing in on the commendations I find myself far less inclined to use something I’ve already completed. After a while you start to realize that you have almost as much of the tier 2 and 3 versions of a weapon like the needler then what’s the point of having the lower version. However I love to pull out the tier 1 shotgun and lockdown a base every now and then.

I would go 5 because it still seems to be a good number for me at less if you decide to use one here and there.

I sell everything but snipers, rockets, shotguns, lasers, plasma pistols, banshee, tanks, ghosts, oni hogs, and maybe one or two prophets’ bane

Depends can you use them toward commendations, kill legendary boss, give you a slight advantage, ect.

I sell the a lot of lower tier power weapons, and vehicles. But try to use a lot of power ups or stack them with additional power ups or power weapons. Think of it this way if your REQ gauge is full your wasting REQ energy so better to at least give yourself a slight advantage.

Maybe try to be more tactical, vehicles and power weapons can come in very handy in niche situations when trying to take out AI bosses, securing bases, providing cover fire, pushing objectives and of course destroying the core.

Hope my comment was insightful and helpful best of luck.

As stupid as this may sound whenever I buy a gold req pack I tend to sell like everything, like the power weapons, vehicles and power ups. I do this so I can get even more req points so then I can just get more gold req packs and I can do just fine without having any cool things to use in warzone. I just use my BR and pick up whatever thing I can find. I tend to keep the mythic power weapons tho and since now all I have left to unlock are Legendaries/mythics and ultra rares I just sell anything that’s common to rare. Once I officially unlock all armors/helmets (b/c that’s what I really want to unlock the most) I’ll hoard the rest of the crappy things I get. That’s just me tho lol.

I’m such a hoarder!!! I’m like “maybe I’ll want to use 63 Carbines… ok, I’ll just keep all 63!”
It’s a sickness, hahaha

Same. Unless It’s a weapon/ vehicle I’ll never use then I normally sell them when I’m only a few hundred from a silver pack or something.
