I’ve played Halo wars and have 2. I’ve played 2 for a little bit but stopped because I got bored. Is it worth playing?
Yes. It also deals with what’s going on after Halo 5 with the Guardians effect. It gets better. Specially with Infinite being about the Banished. Play it.
I suggest it I got it through Gamepass and enjoyed it. I did get bored after sometime but not before I completed the campaign which was fantastic.
It adds to the lore, has in my opinion the coolest faction (Banished) as well as a badass antagonist which I hope gets more screentime in Infinite. I feel it’s better than Halo Wars 1 in every way. Best to play through the campaign then if you still feel like it play against AI or Players. The DLC that doesn’t come with the season pass I would wait until it is heavily discounted but it adds new story and more features.

to be fair it takes practice and time. but the pay off is unlike any other game
