Should I Give Halo 4 Another Chance?

I haven’t played since February. Is now the right time with the update rolling out(at last)?

While this is good news, this is still unacceptable. It took far too long to get such a crucial and widely needed update out.

I highly suggest you give it another chance.

People should be just happy that 343 actually pays attention to their game, unlike some companies -_-

Definitely.

> People should be just happy that 343 actually pays attention to their game, unlike some companies -_-

Some people just like to live their lives complaining about everything and never want to be happy.

> People should be just happy that 343 actually pays attention to their game, unlike some companies -_-

Is that really supposed to be justification?

They screwed up.

Just give it a shot because you want to, not because people are saying you should. It’s up to you in the end to form the opinion.

Yes the DID, but as someone who hasn’t played for four/five months, you’re in no position to say those old problems still matter that much.

Not only should you give it another chance but you should tell your friends and their friends to give it another chance.

While it’s better to get things right the first time, screwing up and then fixing it is forgivable, if it doesn’t happen too often.

at least, that’s what I think. Anyone in the know can tell that from my gamertag. Or at least the first part.

Yes now is the time to jump back online and play Halo 4. Call your friends as the game is now feeling like a fabulous mix of Halo 2 & 3 with playlists providing for classic Halo, hardcore or Infinity as well as Grifball and Infection.

If you have a regular team Throwdown or CTF is great, if you’re on your own doubles or Infinity slayer are nice and if you have 5 or more in your party then BTB is where it’s at.

Overall now is a great time to play again as you’ll have faster gameplay and more solo-winning abilities. Strafe is quite effective again and the maps, settings and weapons sandbox have all had some really nice experience, feedback and tweaks for this June 3rd update.

Yes I recommend giving it another chance. I left the game for 3 months and came back a few weeks ago. Add on this update this game is so much better now.

Yes, give it another chance. Play a few games to get used to the update. THEN play some more games after getting used to it before passing judgement. They really did great with this update. I only have one gripe and that’s about the BR rate of fire. But I don’ think many others will share my feelings about it. But everything else is pretty awesome.

Do you think it’s too slow?

Start playing again. The game has greatly improved, especially the light rifle. The movement increase allows for more fast paced gunfights. The game actually plays like Halo now, so I started playing again after 5 months. IMO BTB is the most fun. It’s just pisses me off how people vote for infinity slayer over slayer pro.

Yes. If they still have their games, there is no harm in jumping in and giving the new settings a try.
