Hello, I would like to ask you vets in CE if i should get Halo on pc, mainly, is the MP good? ive played it on LAN at school (yes i’m a pubescent growth) but is the multiplayer actually playable? (aka not too many tryhards)

Multiplayer is playable and better than anything Live has offered yet. Check out www.halomaps.org to see some of the user created content free for download. Notice how old some of this stuff is.
Bottom line BUY IT! It will be the best $20 that you will put in your PC
If you want to play some damn good MP, you want to buy a copy of Halo PC, and download a copy of Halo Custom Edition, the Custom Edition’s MP is down right epic, and the maps will blow your mind away with some of the weapons, vehicles, and other stuff done in the maps.

IIRC the keys ARE reusable, but you can’t play a game with anybody who has the same key. Just to be safe, I would buy ‘new’ if you can still find it.

Yeah, I would buy a copy, it’s not like you’re breaking the bank when you pick up a copy.
Hell, I have two copies of Halo PC, tho I’m not going to give you one of the disc keys because I don’t remember which key goes to my screwed up disc.
You’ll have no regrets getting the game on PC. It’s amazing.
YES! Halo PC is amazing and the online experience is really cool. It has maps that I wish would have come to the console Halo games

I kind of find it funny that Halo PC and Halo Custom Edition’s player base is still strong, and yet there are people out there who say Halo PC gaming is dead.
I feel for playing campaign the Xbox experience is definitely superior, and ofc splitscreen.
But online ofc PC owns.
