Are they good because I played the Crimson map pack and it was horrible in my opinion. I only liked one of the three maps. Are the other maps good?
Castle is awesome Majestic is…blah…
They’re good, but underplayed at the moment, DLC playlist is normally the only reliable place, and that’s only the most current DLC.
The only one I have is castle, and it’s meh at best.
Perdition is a decent map, good aesthetics but could have more walkways and hallways IMO. Seems like a fairly basic map, and to be honest I’ve seen forge maps pull off more interesting city environments. Outcast is a deserty place and I’m not a huge fan of it. Granted I only played two games on it, but they were oddball and boy was that not fun.
Daybreak is alright, but the layout is meh and the lighting reminds me of Reach.
I’d get it for perdition simply because it’s a fairly good map, but the other two really aren’t all that fantastic.
I wouldn’t recommend getting them because they barely show up in matchmaking. You would spend all that money getting the map packs and you wouldn’t really get to play them.

If you are to get any maps I would recommend the Majestic map pack. It is brilliant. By far my favorite 3 maps in Halo 4.
However the playlist population is very small in any DLC playlist and your fun is very short lived once you have played the 3 maps a good few times in a row.
The only map pack worth getting is the Majestic one. They come up plenty in mm.
I wish I could tell you if they are any good, I haven’t played them enough to even form an opinion on them.
I got season pass and I like Majestic but I haven’t gotten around to playing Castle . . .

I had this problem in Reach, for that game had very poor DLC sales. I haven’t yet bought any DLC for Halo 4 and do not plan to. I just don’t play the game that much. It has no “it” factor like Halo 2 and 3 had.
Not now. You should have gotten them as they came out. The only one you will get to really play is Castle. You will barely see the others.
Depends what you like in a game. If you are a fan of 4v4 or 5v5 Majestic is best, Big team then Castle is best.
The last 2 map packs were pretty good but the maps never come up so I would say don’t waste your money.

Crimson was bleh, Majestic is alot better, and Castle is the best. Homestly, 343 gets better with map designs each map-pack they put out.
I only like Majestic map pack. The other two are kindof bad.
Only if you really love halo and have plenty of disposable income… I bought the map pass… Not happy, even with discounted price.

Certain Affinity made them.
Crimson wasn’t very good. Majestic and Castle were a lot better. They don’t show up too often unless you play with friends who have them. There is a playlist for them, but right now it’s just for Majestic. Not sure if/when they plan to change it to include all of them. It’s up to you, but I personally think the maps were really good, and I play with friends all the time who have them, so I see them show up pretty often.
