Should I get Reach?

Now that I’m hearing about the dlcs being free, I was wondering if I should get Reach. Is the population on Xbox one good? Would I have issues finding games that aren’t going to break my Xbox (and maybe my controller) from the lag? I will still most like get it, if just for splitscreen campaign and firefight with friends, plus it’s only $10 preowned at gamestop currently. I just want your guys’ opinion on the current state of the game really. Thanks

I would say so even if you just did forge and custom games, but multiplayer is still fun to me, finding games relatively fast, however there is lag quite often in my experience

Sounds good. Hopefully I can get a wired connection soon so that should help with lag.

I only play hard wired but that won’t help you when people are lag switching because the game doesn’t have dedicated servers, sorry

It’s basically the same as it was playing on the 360. Largely contingent on your internet and that of the host. But yeah, you should have every Halo game!

The noble map pack hasn’t been made free yet as far as i know, but i hear it will be soon.
but the real problem is you can’t play the dlc in most play lists because people have not downloaded them yet, probably because they don’t know about it.
If you like slower paced games i recommend Reach, but if you don’t have a long attention span i don’t think you’ll enjoy multiplayer.
One great thing about Reach is X360 and XOne can play together.

I would say get Halo:Reach absolutely, especially if you’ve never played it before. If you have, I would say it is still as fun as you’d remember. I’m still playing it now, went and sold my ps4 recently and went back to Reach and think I’m enjoying that game way more than most I played on PS4 (I do kinda miss BF1 though, and Overwatch)

Spartan, remember they’re available in Xbox One too. If it’s because of the higher resolution PS4 has, then scratch that, remember how it was back then.

If you have played it before: Yeah man you should.

If not: I always have alot of fun and the game does insists you to keep playing it because of challenges, adding alot of replayability. Custom Games and Firefight are also fun as -Yoink!- hell AND are customizable, even the waves themselves and EVEN THE ENEMIES THEMSELVES FOR CHRIST SAKE. Multiplayer is good, I wouldn’t say the best (cough cough Armor Lock cough), but it’s really fun.

If you’re looking to play reach mostly for multiplayer, then no because it’s scarcely populated, which is to be expected from a 7 year old game. The multiplayer is still good though. The campaign is great though. I bought it just for that.

Scarcely? Only in the Evolved playlist (except BTB). Because in the Standard, Anniversary, Co-Op and Community there’s still enough players for you to find a match faster than MCC pre-patch. (Pun intended)

Need to save up money for a Xbox One, and got too much other stuff to purchase first before another gaming console, I’m happy with the 360 for now.
