Should i get Halo Reach if i have HALO 4?

im wondering if i should get it or not i only have halo 4.

Why do you consider getting Reach in the first place?

no get halo 3, at least play the last decent halo game

Reach has Firefight, so there’s that. Ultimately though, if you’re just concerned with MM, you shouldn’t get Reach when you already have H4.

Wrong place to ask, op, lol. This is where all, what, 10? of the Reach haters congregate.

I’d get it. It’s matchmaking is awesome and it has Forge World and Firefight for awesome custom experiences.

Personally I would recommend getting all of them. Start off with the Halo: Reach campaign and then move on to Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Halo 2 is playable on the XBOX 360 (f you want to go in chronological order than start Halo 3: ODST half way through Halo 2) after that move on to Halo 3. You can ply Halo 3: ODST when ever you want (it is a very good game) but Halo: Wars isn’t necessary to get the main Halo story.

I think matchmaking is more tolerable in Reach than Halo 4. By a slight margin. The still have ffa, grifball, doubles, etc. I feel it’s composed of less bs.

Wars: It has some significance to be fair, as that really shows the start of the war and alot of discovery about Forerunners and Flood.

Op, yes Reach is very good game, just like all the Halo games but if you are going to decide to buy any game, i would recomend Halo 3, i thought both REach and 3 were awesome. I find it hard to say whats better but Halo 3s custom games to me was the winner. Sure Reach has more option but H3 CG were something special. Especially Infection on maps like Sandbox and Foundry!

Reach’s campaing is awesome get it! I loved it it was epic it was hmmm delicius you should get it n.n

Reach is by far the worst Halo.

If you are looking for a great campaign, buy Halo 1. It’s only like 5 bucks.

If you are looking for the best matchmaking, get Halo 3.

Although, Halo 4 is awesome (contrary to the forum trolls).

I had reach, gave it away when I got H4… regretted that and have just repurchased it here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290830618255?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619

Halo 4 is an… incomplete experience and I miss all the stuff mentioned above.

OP: If you’re bored with same 5 maps all the time I would say - go for it. Halo 4 made almost everything better, but Reach is still a Halo game, so it can be used as a substitute. Inferior, but still quite playable. Some maps are nice (like Arena Zealot or Uncaged) and you can play in mp as an Elite (in Elite Slayer or in unique gametype - Invasion). When I’m bored with Halo 4, I personally prefer playing some less known Halo 3 maps (in Social Rumble Pit, or Team Mythic, or Social Big Team), but sometimes I’m still playing Reach.
Oh, and there’s some great campaign waiting for you!

Reach is better than H4 when comparing apples to apples. Both rely on an XP ranking system but H4 players were maxing out within weeks. In Reach it will take you several months of no-lifing the game to even get close to Inheritor.

Reach has Firefight which is great. H4 has Spartan Ops which is so lagged/buggy it’s unplayable.

Campaign in Reach is much better. Will take you a lot longer to complete and the story line is better.

Matchmaking is decent in both.

Personally, I really enjoy Reach. The campaign was fun and the multiplayer, while having some flaws, is still a lot of fun. Firefight is great as well, especially with the Installation 04 map.

I prefer the campaign and multiplayer in Halo 4, but that doesn’t mean that Reach is bad by any means.
