I’ve played every halo up to this point, except ; 5, wars, and wars 2. I bought an Xbox one X To get back to my console roots is halo 5 worth it? I can buy a brand new limited edition for 27$.
Despite the flaws in the game I say it’s worth it. It can take awhile to get used to though. Maybe rent before buying?
If you havent used your 14 day trial to gamepass i would recommend doing that. That should be enough time to beat the game and get a feel for the multiplayer in 5.
Eh, It’s a hit or miss game to be honest. It all depends on what you think makes a good game.
halo 5 isn’t such a bad game as people claim it you just have to get used to the controls and the extra spartan abilities and its like any other halo with extra features
All based on opinion, but in my opinion, the game is worth it for the multiplayer alone. Especially if you have the One X and a 4K tv, then go for it. It’s only $20 right now on the marketplace anyway.

I do have a 4k tv. If I buy it I’ll spend the extra 7 for the new-limited edition to get the “war dlc” included

What do you mean hit and miss? I’ve heard some of the Locke missions are kinda in needed. But it on a case by case?

I have a 30 day game pass and I’m buy a year of live today, will the games pass “rent” download count as my download when/if I buy or do i have to redownload?

Then I say go for it. Again, my opinion, but I don’t see H5 as a failure like some do. The campaign was definitely not the best, but I absolutely love the multiplayer.
its a hard pass for me. I have the game bought it from launch but there are to many glitches, server problems, and they just did a weapon tuning that sucked the last life halo 5 had all the way out. The multiplayer is unbalanced and team work is pretty much non existent.
that’s my opinion.

I don’t know where you live, but here in Europe I can find online stores that sell it for €15,-. So for such a price I would buy it. Still play the game a lot.

It sounds like you dislike Halo 5. That must have been a horrible 32 days of multiplayer gameplay for you.

I only play it for the social aspect of it as I have friend that live outside the country and its kind of the only time I get to talk with them. get online play a few games and most of the time just BS’ing in a party chat. and again bought the game at launch. that a lot of time between then and now.
If it’s 27 bucks then yea. The game isn’t for everyone (mostly old halo players) I know a lot of them dropped off the halo train because of halo which is kinda sad to see them go. But for me and others as well I’ve played halo since the beginning and I enjoy playing halo 5. You’ll have a blast considering you’re coming in when they dropped all the updates already. But it’s not for everyone halo 5 is more competitive than the others so if you’re looking for a casual play halo 5 might aggravate you at times. Overall I think it’s a steal for 27

Personally, it edges to the forefront as my favorite Halo game of all the Halo titles and I’ve played them all throughout their primary life-cycles, but each has brought its own enjoyment during its time. For example here is a fairly compact list of what I liked, loved, or appreciated about each title. Anyways, I say get it.

What i mean by hit or miss is that it’s see as a good game to a lot of people but it’s seen as a bad game to a lot of people, and that it really is up to your own interpretations of the game. And what are you trying to say about the locke missions, sorry but i don’t know what “kinda in needed” is supposed to mean.
I have about 2400 hours in Halo 5 alone so I would say it’s definitely worth it for that price.

Halo 5 in 4k is really very beautiful. I think you can buy your edition to play it.
