Should Have Only Focused On H2A Multiplayer

I appreciate what 343 was trying to do by bringing the entire Halo collection to the Xbox One. The inclusion of all the campaigns is awesome, and will help refresh people on the story and relive the great moments in Master Chief’s saga leading up to Halo 5. But why on God’s green earth did they decide to do all the multiplayers? This is Halo 2 anniversary after all. I really wish they would have just remade all the Halo 2 maps and launched the game with all of the playlists from Halo 2, rather than doing this mixed playlist fiasco in the MCC. There is nothing fun about playing BR slayer constantly in different game engines.

I love the idea of MCC, but seeing how it turned out, I also wish they had just remade all H2 maps and just released Halo 2A with working MP, no glitches, and deddies.
I’d rather have 1 working game than 5 broken ones.

4 playlist isn’t enough?

Trolling or sarcasm?

Why did you post this exact thing twice?

Since I have hardly touched H2A, and primarily only been enjoying CE, H2 Classic, and Halo 3. I completely disagree.

H2A is BY FAR the worst game of the bunch. Way worse then Halo 4 even. Player movement is so slow and hitboxes are so absurdly large. It takes literally no effort to get a headshot. Noobs and pros alike are 4 burst killing consistently. There is no skill gap whatsoever, and its become a rock paper scissors match.

I’m not arguing that one is better than the other. I’m simply saying that it would have been better to focus on a single multiplayer experience, and it being Halo 2’s anniversary, it should have been the one, IMO.

Hindsight is 20/20. I’m guessing at a certain point they realized it was too much, but they couldn’t turn back.

Because they wanted to sell more than 12 copies of the game. Halo 2 and h2a are rubbish

That’s your opinion. Many hold Halo 2 multiplayer as the pinnacle of the Halo franchise.
