I was wanting to make a post about this, but I can see that they added “Tartarus’ Gavel.”
I think it would have been much better for them to add a uniquely styled hammer just like thethe Prophet’s Bane sword, and make it the Fist of Rukt, the Grav Hammer Tartarus used in Halo 2. Just seems like kind of a dropped ball. This is my only gripe for Ghosts of Meridian haha. I don’t complain about free stuff.
Fist of Rukt is still a possibility, theres two blurred hammers. Although I doubt they have the look of the actually hammer, that woulda been cool
I concur. Seemed to me like they had a really good chance to insert a very powerful and unique Mythic weapon. Imagine holding down the trigger to instigate a gravity field, drawing in nearby opponents. And then, when they lie helpless within your grasp, the trigger is released, and the bodies go flying.
Well, I don’t know. Something like that anyway. Either way, the lore behind the weapon and it’s overall “cool” factor were definitely enough to justify it’s implementation.
Yeah its my only gripe. Slap to us lore fans who read Contact Harvest. They should know how significant the Fist of Rukt is to Tartarus. It was a symbol of his dominance over the Brutes. Then they go and throw an orange hammer at us and call it “Tartarus’ Gavel”???
Yeah um the fans won’t notice a thing just press the button.

I was thinking something like that, or hold it down to create a field that can catch bullets, releasing would shoot them back. Could catch rocks and grenades too haha
