There are so many cool custom maps… It would be awesome if a non-clan person like myself, who never wants to join a clan, could go to a forum and find a large group of up to 16 like-minded people to play custom maps with.

That would actually be a very good idea. I could see 343 doing that in the future, for HaloWaypoint and the Reclaimer Trilogy, alike. Nice post/topic!
