Should Halo: Infinite have been delayed again?

Literally everyone was so hyped about this game. I am really saddened to see it being a botched release.

We all probably saw it coming. From the terrible demo at E3, which saw a postponed release date to actually work on the game, to the lack of true information about Halo: Infinite until the final month (or two) from release.

The game lacks core Halo features such as player collision, Spartan customisation , playable Elites/Brutes(?), Campaign co-op, Forge, Game Mode playlists.

There’s probably bunch more to mention, but I am just really bummed out that waiting for 5+ years for a Halo release, even got worse than what Halo 5 had to offer in terms of unlockable/monetisation. Even MCC got fixed after years of being f*cked up and sort of redeemed itself for me because of the constant season updates and improvements. Why did we go free to play here all of the sudden. Really unncessary.

What happened to 343i? What happened to “the player first in mind”, “all about halo”. I am truly not seeing it. I like its multiplayer but the small rotation of maps and the game just feeling so non-halo in many aspects has me contemplating on whether i should even try out the campaign. It might disappoint too.

Why is Halo: Infinite, even after 5 years of development, so unfinished? Should it have been delayed yet again?

I really wish it wasn’t so we had gotten decent game with content.

Forge really should’ve been released with the game, since that allows the community to create awesome modes and fun times, resulting in a self sustaining experience.

as of right now it feels like Halo 5 all over again launch wise.

This is my first ever experience in playing a beta. With that said, I hope 343 listens to the feedback and give us what WE want. Only that way, THEY can get what THEY want. A Halo that will still be played in a decade. I mean, look at Skyrim, people still play that. But that also is very different and has no monetization behind it…

Isn’t the point of beta to gain feedback and optimize the game to the wishes of the fans? Only then, we can talk about spending more money for that game, if WE get what we want since Reach.

It still has the possibilty to be real good, but just not in the current state.

I this the complete and finished game that we want? No.
Am I happy playing it’s current version until step by step develops into what we want and expect instead of it being delayed more? Hell yeah!
