Should Halo be on Steam

Hi, I’m new to this Forum website and this is going to be my first discussion. Should Halo be on Steam or Should it not? I’m not talking about spartan Assault or Strike, Believe me they are great games. The Halo games I am talking about are the First-Person Shooter ones Like Halo Reach, Combat Evolved,2,3,4. I understand that it is an Xbox exclusive but Steam would make it just as fun. Steam is a website full of a mix of Xbox 360, One games and PS3,PS4 games. I believe it should be on there for numerous reasons They are listed Below: (Bottom part for developers.)

  • Can make 343 even more popular - Can make 343 Have more money which can result in more upgrades for electronics which could equal great games - Your Stocks of Halo Games would be lifted higher Resulting in DLCs, or Games like I mentioned earlier. - The Console Consumers would want Steam just because of YOUR AMAZING GAME :). - People could get mods in Halo or Amazing Maps like in Garrys Mod throughout the Steam Workshop. - Halo could become one of the most popular games out there on Steam. - You Could just make one Halo game (ex Reach) or just a Steam exclusive Halo. - More Opportunities to maybe even play with the developers or creators - I guarantee you, you would never regret so. - Many, Many, Many, more I promise youI’m not saying you have to, I’m saying you should go for it. One person is saying something that could help change the way Halo is played and many more ways to play it as well. Well I hope you decide say yes to no pressure XD. Consumers are the Fruit to a tree (Halo is the tree). Without them, the tree would wither and die.
Anyone I beg please show this to The Devs.you can Help me make that difference.

I’d love Halo to come to Steam, and see what creative mods could be made for it. Unfortunately MS would rather keep Halo on the Xbox so they can sell more of their own console.

Microsoft makes Windows PCs…

Not really seeing your point here.

I’m not really sure why they don’t either. But I’m sure there is some very logical reason that 343 has already discussed. I’m sure they know it would be successful, but something is holding them back. Either way, I’m just ready for Halo 5 on my Xbox haha.

Steam is not exclusive to Windows, though. If Halo was on Steam, then people who don’t use Windows could get Halo and MS would sell less Xboxes.

The majority of Steam games are compatible with Windows. Mac and Linux support is generally secondary to developers.

They can release Halo to Steam without making a Mac/Linux friendly version.

I think what he’s trying to say is, Microsoft may take a hit in their Xbox sales if they let Halo be on other platforms, even if they excluded Mac/Linux. Who knows though .-.
