Should Halo 6 be released in two parts?

Hey everyone,

This idea has been going through my mind. After Halo 5, to make sense of the story and what might come ahead, I’ve been going through all the lores and explanations on Youtube, etc. I have come to finally realize the epic scale of the Halo Universe. The Halo games by themselves do not do it justice. The way 343 has expanded the Original story by Bungie is incredible. I mean for example, the MC/Bornstellar theory which goes as far back as Halo CE and links with Halo 4, it couldn’t have been all planned out during production of Halo CE in 2001 could it???

Anyways, what I mean to say is that the current point where the story is after Halo 5, there is way too much potential left in the story to link all the lore and come to the best satisfying conclusion to the Reclaimer Saga. I know Halo 6 will be the last episode in MC’s story. My question is that is it too much to cram in one game? I don’t think 343 can manage to bring a proper conclusion to the Reclaimer Saga with just one game, there’s just way too much remaining/unexplained. It will just feel like a rush job which will turn out to be disappointing, which for a Halo fan who doesn’t just play Halo but feels the story would be too sad. I personally want the best ending which will make Halo something to remember for years.

So should 343 release Halo 6 in two parts/episodes a-la Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2?

Halo 5 was released in at least dozen parts.

No because then they are probably going to charge us 60 dollars a piece, then probably 60 dollars for multiplayer. Then probably 60 dollars for dlc that contains btb and forge. On top of that they’ll also have micro transactions. That’s not a good idea, please don’t give them anymore.

I don’t see how this differs from calling them halo 6 & 7. This would make sense if they were making a game based on a one book but now they can fit in as much story in a one game they like and possibly even leave it to a cliff hanger if they wish.

No, I’d rather have Halo 6 as one full game.

Just one question: y tho

Theres an high chance that you then need to pay for both parts,so no.

Simply put:

No

It should be a close to the trilogy and perhaps the ending could leave a cliffhanger to start off the next trilogy, if there is one (I hope there is!)

Id rather keep it as a trilogy and for the last part to focus on Chief and the current story itself. Just dont give other ideas to milk this brand. And no cliffhangers anymore. Its kind of understandable in some cases but they shouldnt aim for such.

Please no. A solid H6 is all I want.

HAHAHAHAHAHA
no

Dude simply by the fact of paying for each part makes me feel sick

H6 might not be the end of the reclaimer saga. H7 could be the end of even H8.

I’ve never understood the whole focus on the trilogy thing.
I don’t care if a story is executed in 2 parts or 10, so long as it’s executed well and each part is an important part of completing the whole.
I’m not a huge gamer, but I am a huge story consumer, and as fun as Halo’s gameplay is and can be, for me it’s just the vehicle for the primary story progression. Considering how much lore they’ve tried to include from the books/graphic novels/ comics (which all the primary plot points pertinent to the story in the games from these really should have been in some multimedia form and on the Halo Channel) I think they really need to do two more games to complete this arc.
