Most of us want a Halo 2 anniversary so we can play Halo 2 online again and relive the experience we all had is a younger person, playing this amazing game.
Since the next Halo is out next year, 343 will be too busy with finalising and releasing Halo 5 to make an entirely separate game for release. So how about 343 make it a side project to update the graphics on Halo 2, give us the chance to play halo 2 online again and release it on a bonus disk?
You could make it part of the Halo 5 legendary edition or something. £79.99. Halo 5 plus a bunch of artwork, behind the scenes stuff and Halo 2 anniversary.
I think it would be an awesome idea personally. It would be the only way 343 could hope to get even close to the same sales that Halo 3 had, seeing as how they let us down quite a bit with Halo 4.
You do know if it happens multiplayer will not be included just the campaign but i would still love it.

We don’t know that. The only reason Halo CE anniversary had no CE MP was because the original game wasn’t made for mutliplayer games, only system link/local. It was 2001 so there was no xbox live yet.
Halo 2, however, was basically the game that pretty much made Xbox Live.

To assume that a Halo 2 Anniversary would have Halo 2’s Multiplayer built into it, is a fool’s gambit. Look at Halo CEA, the original Halo CE game has MP that was LAN, Halo CEA, didn’t even have the original LAN MP, it was campaign, coop, and Reach’s MP. I can totally see Halo 2 Anniversary being another campaign only game. Which I would enjoy mostly because I’d see a ton of “WTF 343i! WE WANTED MP!” threads, and I’d get a slight kick of it.
But in all reality, I see no point to have a Halo 2 Anniversary this quick, we should wait a little longer.

It’s reasonable to expect Halo 2 Anniversary not to include multiplayer, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be welcome.
I’d prefer if they just released it separately, like Halo CEA.
That’d be one heck of a preorder bonus, especially for Microsoft. Valve released Counter-Strike: Source with preorders for HL2, and that was generous even for Valve. Not likely at all.

Oh, but have you forgotten? Also, a couple of years later, (I saw it like in 07’, not the Orange Box), if you bought CS:S in-store, you got it +Day of Defeat Source+Half-Life 2 Deathmatch.
On the original topic, It would be fine separate, please.
