Some people say they shouldn’t exist at all and that they ruin halo, other people don’t mind them or say they should stay. Personally I love them.
If you say yes then to what extent should they be there. Should it be like in Reach where they have their own dedicated playlists or like in Halo 3 where they’re all mashed together in a single playlist like action sack
Playlists like Living Dead and Grifball are mainly there for Casual Gamers. People seem to think that because they are “hardcore” gamers they are the only ones allowed opinions and because they don’t like those playlists 343 should remove them. The fact is most of the fans are now casual gamers and they have as much of an opinion on what Halo should be as the “hardcore” gamers thus meaning that Living Dead has as much right to be there as Team Slayer.
Are you kidding me? Anyone who says they shouldn’t be in the game are just hearless jerks. Truth is, I’m a pretty hardcore halo player, and spend most of my time playing squad slayer, arena, mlg etc. But things like Living Dead and Griffball are great alternatives when I feel like taking off my tryhard cap. It’s also great when you have friends over who aren’t used to the more hardcore part of the game.
I have an idea, if you don’t like a gametype, DON’T PLAY IT…
I say yes all that way. Team Slayer is fun and all, but sometimes it is just nice to go and have some non hardcore competitive gaming. I don’t quite understand entirely why some people don’t want there to be a living dead playlist or anything like that. It is like any other playlist that you don’t like: you just don’t play in it.
I say no, only due to the fact that always having them there makes them less special. I remember being super excited for Double XP weekends with Infection on Halo 3. It got boring/bland when I could always do it.
