Should friends be able to play against solo queue?

This goes for both Friends and Clans.

I don’t understand the question.

Friends in a party, playing against solo people. Solo people is someone who isnt in a clan or with friends. Should Friends/clans be allowed to play against solo queue players.

There’s no voting option for solo players that don’t care about facing teams/friends.

You act like this is a real problem, you don’t need to be playing with friends to win, just you and your random teammate will need to know what you’re doing. Sometimes you will get -Yoink- teammates, it happens.

Most definitely not!
My friend and I were playing together and won 11 straight games… (And we were even goofing around near the end.) Teams playing against singles is extremely unbalanced and quite frankly boring for the team players.

For the actual release, no. There should be reciprocal party matchmaking, but for the beta it doesn’t matter.

Essentially the same as Halo Wars 1, but keep it hidden without requiring visibly separate playlists.

Basically, just have a 2v2/3v3 playlist (not a party 2v2, standard 2v2, party 3v3, standard 3v3) that matches equal parties against each other.

  • Arranged parties of two only play parties of two. Un-arranged parties only play un-arranged parties, etc.
  • Mixed parties (2 arranged with one random) against another mixed party.

It is a real problem, especcailly for people like me who like playing solo, then get paired against a clan who just steam rolls because they are communicating. Its unfair and unbalanced, and no game that I know of today allows teams/clans to play against randoms in ranked matches, or even in nonranked.

Then I suggest you stick to the 1v1 playlist when the game goes live.

If your alone I suggest messaging your tactic to your teammate or using your mic.
