Should Elites (Sangheili) Be In HALO 5?

Should 343 Industries Bring Back Elites (Sangheili) In HALO 5. As Playable Characters? Like Spartans…

CraftyFox
In My Own Humble Opinion… Yes
Having The Ability To Pick Elites As Playable Characters In
Halo 2.
Halo 3.
Halo Reach.
Made The Game More Fun. Not Everyone Wants To Be A Spartan, And Not To Mention. The Countless Machinims Have Been Created Because Of Playable Elite Characters
( Examples )
The Forgotten Spartans. Created By Darknal.
Matchmaking. Created By Darkspire.
Wings Of Equilibria. Created By KingSangos.
Rise Of The Spartans. Created By Arbiter617.
The Prodigious Permutation. Created By GeneticSpartan.

Just To Name A Few Machinimas With Elite Characters…

343 Industries. Please Bring Back Elites As Playable Characters In HALO 5. For More Machinima Awesomeness.

Yes, the multiplayer is canon now, but I dont see 343 not making that work. After all, they were really fun to play as. I definitely think they will.

Thanks For Your Comment. GruntyGunner

The Spartans are training to fight the remnant covenant and others, you’d think Elites would be in the simulator.

That’s A Good Question. Otsd4rv4

Well even though the multiplayer is now canon, they let you play as the Flood, so I don’t see any problem with playing as Elites as well.

Thanks For Your Comment. Cheese Potatoe. FLOOD = Awesomeness.

Invasion from Reach would be awesome. Loved playing that gametype.

Yes, playable Elites should have been in Halo 4, lets hope they are in 5.

im guessing if they do anything with the Arbiter or the infrastructor of the Remenant they will. What i want is playable promethians.

I sure hope so! If they continue “War Games” into Halo 5. They should just make it a simulated experience like Invasion or Spartans vs Elites TS or Elites vs Elites TS. It could definitely hold canon if they choose to go War Games on Infinity route again.

> The Spartans are training to fight the remnant covenant and others, you’d think Elites would be in the simulator.

It is naive to leave Elites out of the simulation.

Remember those Spec Ops Elites on Floodgate? Remember all the times they stuck each other… and you?

Yeah, allied Elites can present a threat too.

I honestly thought we would maybe see playable Brutes in Halo 3 MP, before launch.

Exactly. It actually doesn’t make a lot of sense for their to be a Flood mode (in canon, I mean) as they aren’t a threat at present. The Elites are, however, so wouldn’t it be prudent to train the S-IVs on how to bring them down effectively?

Yes, they should be playable, they should be allies and they should be enemies.

Demon Flare lol. When ever a frag is tossed

Definitely.

On a side note, I really hate it how everyone in the Halo universe is referring to them as sanghili’s, it just sounds so… pretentious.

They’ll always bee known as Elites to the humans, hell even the covenant called them that in 2!

It’s already boring to play Halo 4 when your stuck having to be forced to play as just humans.

We’ve started seeing their true names used more and more in every part of the fiction. It makes sense. Take the term Hunters, that refers to a specific form taken on by a colony of Lekgolo. I don’t really see the problem either way. I often call them Elites and Brutes simply because I can’t be bothered typing their true name.

I wouldn’t mind seeing them back as long as every playlist wasn’t mixed species, that creates a lot of unbalance.

And as long as they come up for a reasonable canon explanation for them being in War Games simulations, assuming Halo 5 keeps that idea going.

Curious, why was this topic created when there is a huge topic dedicated to this already.
