Do you think that halo would be better if bungie made every other game? Just like infinity ward and treyarch made every other game for cod and now dice and visceral are sharing battlefront. I think that at the minute 343 seem to be going in their own direction away from everything bungie did. I think the benefit of multiple developers is that we see different approaches to the game but we see popular features return. Also there’s an element of competition to produce the best game.

No I’m good, I like 343 but I don’t like what they are currently doing. I hated Destiny and I’m pretty done with Bungie, I don’t think I will ever be able to forgive that monstrosity or the makers of it.

Exactly. Everyone just needs to cut ties with Bungie being associated with Halo, that’s what they did. After Reach’s launch, they still had one year left in the 10 year contract with Microsoft and instead of renewing it to continue Halo, they left it to make their own game, Destiny. That’s why Microsoft brought in 343 in 2011 because they couldn’t just let Halo die. They knew the fans would keep wanting (which we are) and they knew they could still make money

With bungie, we got halo 2: best multiplayer, halo 3: one of the best campaigns IMO, odst: best firefight, reach: best forge.
With 343 we got a disappointing halo 4 and a broken MCC
Most of bungie is not really bungie anymore, a lot of people have left.

I’d like to see another company give us four titles on one disc, each with its own engines. Yes it was a colossal failure, even 343 admitted that, but it’s not something you can compare to standalone titles like H4 or H5

All your opinion.
You see, I think H3 had a way better multiplayer, (I liked H4 just as much, if not better.). I think HCE had the best campaign with H4 being a very close tie. I think Reach’s fire fight was way better than ODST’s, (I barely played it in ODST because I thought it stunk so bad.). I don’t do anything with forge so I have no opinion on the matter. Now as far as 343 and H4 & MCC, I like H4 very much and the MCC was broke at launch but does work now.
I feel more ripped off over Destiny than MCC. I played Destiny for about 3-4 days and realized I couldn’t stand it. I’ve haven’t played since.
In my opinion, I think 343 is doing just fine and H5 is looking very very good to me. I think the biggest problem here is it seems like 75% of the people on these forums like to over exaggerate everything and just love to try to start controversy.
