SHOULD BRUTES AND FLOOD RETURN?

Yeah I know they are so different enemies, or course, but I’m really interested in your opinion.

1. Do you want to fight against Brutes in Storm Covenant or another faction?
2. Do you want to fight against The Flood?

I would say YES to both, I loved Halo 2 and the main reason was the variety of enemies and IA’s Battles.
These both features are great and I would really like to see Prometheans burning The Flood, or fight the Covenant not only against the Elites, yeah they also, but include Brutes I think it gives some variety to the game.
So what do you think guys ?

3. What about Drones and Skirmisher of Halo Reach?
4. Would you like fight against another faction made of Brutes, Drones, and some Jackals and Skirmishers ?

Yes to all.
I hope to see more Covies than Prometheans in Halo 5.
Prometheans are fun but I’m never tired of fighting the Covenant. #SmashingCoviesSinceCE

The flood a a big part of halo universe no matter if they are annoying from a gameplay perspective

I don’t really understand why they were got rid off.

Yes, and 343 better not make the brutes look strange for no reason. The flood needs to look grotesque , though there is no blood in MP so this worries me. Hopefully that was for the beta and they are not trying to go for the T rating. I don’t want to hear the word “egghead” through the whole campaign.

Probably because Halo 4 is Bungie’s Halo CE, their first Halo. So in my opinion, they will bring back enemies and weapons we miss in Halo 5 and the future games, but not everything at once. This will keep more “new things” for each games

good point

Actually 343 Industries stated they have planned for the next 10 years of Halo, not entire sections of plot, just the finer details… like X (character) meets Y (character) and Z (event) happens at A (location)…

  • The Flood parasite returning goes without question, considering the solid backbone of the entire universal events revolve around this little endeavor… to much foreshadowing has already occured…- Believe me there is a plan for the Jiralhanae, don’t you worry… we will see them return at some point… with a head Chieftain wielding the Fist of Rukt.

  • T’voaon Kig-Yar, although rare, are still alive in the post war universe and are significantly more cunning and intelligent than their cousins. We might see some piracy, mercantile, scavenging dealings with these people… unknown at this point however…

  • Once the Great Schism had erupted, the Yanme’e returned to their hive galaxy to serve their Queen.

I really would like to see the Halo 2’s Brutes, without this uggly armour of Halo 3. Also I really would like to see the same design of Elites of Halo 2 from the Arbiter’s Faction (Like we have already seen in Halo 2 Anniversary’s new Prologue). What do you think guys ?

The Brutes are close to extinction, so they won’t be back for a while, and the flood no longer exist within our Galaxy, but they are more likely to return in the future.

The Brutes are close to extintion? They appear in Halo Escalation. Where did you read this?

i really want to know what happened to the brutes after the breaking of the covenant. also i want to see some grunts who are free and no longer slaves. maybe they help you to get revenge against being enslaved. i know most went to sangehlios and some with the storm faction but i believe there are some that are now seperate and free. it would be great for the grunts to have their ultimate revenge against the covenants and the brutes whom they hate. ive always had a soft spot for the little guys! also what about the kig-yar? now that the covenant is mostly gone, they no longer need to contract themselves out, they were a space faring race themselves, maybe see some more of them in a friendly light? most of all i want to see the elites of sangehlios work together with their new allies of humanity

I want the covenant to speak english again. Or at least the grunts.

The flood? Yes, in Halo 6 (from a creative point of view its going to be too soon to revisit them in Halo 5, what was presented in Halo 4 needs more time to develop.)

The brutes? Sure, as a more independent faction though.

The Flood are definitely coming back. A giant mutant insect-thing told me so.
Brutes are debatable, but likely. Hey, there has to be some reason for the Didact’s Gravity hammer…

Stop calling the enemies by the names nobody recognizes. They’re Brutes, Skirmishers, and Drones/Buggers in the games.

Hope we still get to fight the drones in the form of slaves, like the engineers.

The Brutes looked pretty good in Halo 2 Anniversary. Not holding my breath on them staying that way though.

Brutes aren’t close to extinction. I think you have them confused with the Prophets.

I wouldn’t expect Brutes to come back as part of the Covenant.

Not expecting flood either, too early to really write them back in.

Skirmishers are one of my favorite enemy types, really challenging and fun to fight.

More Covenant, more prometheans, more flood and a new enemy to top it off.

I really wish Prometheans and covenant were at odds. I loved the four way fights between sentinals, flood, covenant and UNSC in Halo CE

Also Sentinals. they need to be a part of the gameplay again. Its been far too long since they made a true appearance other than futilely zapping hunters and pointing the way to MC in Halo 4.

Lol I forgot the engineers
