You lose with random players because the enemies tell their party members where you are.

So to keep it fair and not always one sided.
There should be an option to select what type of players you want to play with.
Preferences: those not in a party. So if they are you can at least talk to them. And if they are enemies you won’t fight them.
Why would 343 punish Teamwork? I don’t think they will change the current system.
They actually do already do it that way to the best of their ability. As someone who frequently plays with parties, it’s pretty obvious that most of the time you end up playing people who have a bit more strategy and teamwork going on than the normal group. However it still does happen fairly often that you get matched with a group of randoms. It’s always quite the unfortunate situation… for the other team.
You don’t need tons of friends to get in on a party. Check out http://www.halolfg.com to find groups looking for additional members. It’s usually pretty active and it’s always where I find my groups.
