We’ll get Halo 2 in a year or two not to worry. They have to make one anyway because it’s the only Halo game not available on XBox Marketplace and you can’t play it on your XBox Live anymore so they have to make one they have no choice. Its also one of the best Halo games out there besides the other Halo games.

The only circumstances under which a Halo 2 remake should be made is a 20th anniversary for Halo.

I see, no particular reason for that except you don’t like the game.
I don’t see any viable reasoning for it not being made for the 10th anniversary of H2, of the 360 and a celebration of when Live really took off and dominated. This was big stuff for MS. All that happened within a few months of each event and it all centers around 10 years. A blind man could see that.
We get it, you just don’t like the game.
Well, it wouldn’t be an Anniversary game if it wasn’t done on it’s 10 year ANNIVERSARY.
Yes, a Halo 2 Anniversary would be excellent. It would give us the updates graphics, multiplayer capabilities again, and (for the love of everything) online Co-Op Campaign.
I would also much appreciate it if the game had the Skull system redone to where you can turn on and off Skulls across different levels.
As long as it has 4-player live co-op. I can’t stress that enough
With the great graphics seen so far from Halo 4,I say go for it 343i,plus Halo 2 in my book was the greatest halo with Boss Battles.

SO I’ll say this…Don’t focus on singleplayer this time, do multi…i know the reaons you excluded the muklti for cea is beacuse it would take about 3 years, bu stil…Making the h2 multi remake will inroduce newr fans to old school h2, and give the vets something else to play other than h2vista

I disagree. Halo 2 Anniversary should focus solely on Campaign, ignoring the multiplayer.
It’s not my favorite Halo game, but I think it’d be cool to see with remastered graphics and co-op playability!
That’s about as far as I’d draw the line though. Releasing a Halo 3 remake, unless it’s LONG in the future, would be a tad ridiculous.

They shouldn’t because you’ll have fans who love Halo 2 rage at that. Halo 2 had the best maps out there aside from Halo 3.I will rage if they do not include MP in Halo 2.

They can rage all they want. The most important thing about Halo 2 was the Campaign, and more people would like to see the Campaign remastered than the multiplayer.
I’d like a remake. I’d also like the Covenant Ship and Forerunner Tank levels restored.
I would also like cinematic content brought in from First Strike. I’m talking about the part where this operative from Reach fleas and informs Lord Hood and Colonel Ackerson that the planet has been totalled. This is now relevant to the gamer-only crowd as they’ve since then played through that story, albeit told from a radically different perspective.
