its no use to redo then any more.
and the reasons are more easy to know.
1: the trust level between 343 and the communety is so worse that doing the weekly or doing it each 2 weeks update is not doing anything good at all.
2: there have make so big of mess last year by breaking promice’s or not care at all there are problems players have with the game and fix that keeping then update to date is not going to help at all.
3: last year the multiplayer population have make a big crash and few weeks ago the campaign players lost there trust in the game.
there are more points but i not wane make it long but that tells you all doing this again has no use since the communety has no trust in then any more.
but the big negative feedback was not the only problem there only get.
the other thing was that people have questions about things more so there post it there also since there ignore then on the threads there have been make.
take crossplay people have been asking then what are there plans now with the crossplay system between platforms.
that if there keep using the force option or chance it to a turn on/off option.
and why choose for the force option also.
that are things people wane know from then and never got a answer about it.
for the negative feedback was it always there own fault.
if people complain there is a cheating problem and there not have add a anti cheating software at all and ignore then for some month’s then you ask for a negative feedback in the first place.

I get what you are saying, but then I feel that what you are saying runs on the idea of a ‘lack of transparency’
I see where you are going and I agree that this will be the consequence of doing those weekly updates:
Sharing information each week, then being asked further questions, not answering all of them due to not being able to address all questions or concerns
This is why I argue for transparency, as that is the true way to build trust
I do see exactly what you’re saying, and I appreciate your reasoning
I feel that the ideal way to rebuild that bridge between 343 and the community would be to:
- Make true, sincere and transparent acknowledgements
- Rebuild communication with the community, either directly or through Ambassadors (e.g. Mint Blitz)
- Start looking to their community as the ones that can help, not just criticise

the only way to make a bridge between 343 and the communety good and to restore it is by starting that there come clean with a lot off things.
that there have make big mess from the multiplayer.
that there have release a broken multiplayer.
that there explane to the campaign players why there going to scrap the campaign expensions.
and keep on with the list there need to come clean with what there have mess up with it.
and thats only the first step there need to do.
the other steps is telling the truth to the communety always and explane things from why there remove it or have chance it or choose for it.
and not forgot if there are hot topic’s flying by and become hot that there going to explane in a developer post what is happing more or why there have choose for that system and not for the other.
and if there are threads starting with problems some have like forge is not working and it got all 20 replay’s in a day that there start looking on it and tell also on the same thread there are going looking in to it and that its going take some time to fix it and keep then up do date with the weekly or each 2 weeks communety post about the status from the problems there are going to look on and going to fix.
status idea’s can be then more like this as exemple.
custom game save file’s losing. status: on hold.
mulitplayer connection problem. status: working on it.
something like that then players know that if there have the same problem there know it all but are working on a other problem first or there are working on it all.
but that shows all more that the problem is all knowing by then but cant fix it right away since there are -Yoink!- working on a other problem first to fix it.
something like that can help restore the trust slowly for the long therm.
and most off all telling the truth to the communety all is it bad news or things not going in the right way and there need some delay’s and explane the reason why it has been delay like the system is not working like it most be.
