Should 343 turn Friendly Fire back on in Social modes?

God I don’t miss that. You get the Sniper first? You get shot to death or punched to death because some 6 year old wants to make their FaZe sniper consideration montage only to just waste every shot because they couldn’t hit a Wraith sitting still 5 feet away, nevermind a bunch of fast moving Spartans.

You win the Wraith race on Hemorrhage? Here comes the lobbing of a thousand nades because if the entitled brats screaming into their mics like they’re being beaten can’t have it, then no one can.

So no, keep friendly fire in ranked only, please and thank you. Halo was a toxic cesspool when FF was on in social. I literally had an entitled PoS back in Reach purposely keep getting in my way so that I would betray him so he could kick me because I picked up the Rocket Launcher and according to him “power weapons are only for Inheritors.” (I was literally 2 ranks behind him as Reclaimer…)

Absolutely. It promotes team-play when you have to look out for your buddies when throwing grenades and shooting

When a player walks through me as I’m firing a rocket and I explode, it’d be really nice if he exploded too.

As much as i would like to punush those who wrong me, i see that is exactly why we shouldnt be allowed xD. We are toxic humans, its for the greater good really :joy:

I definitely understand where you’re coming from, and I agree to an extent. One of my biggest complaints with Infinite is the grenade spam, but I personally believe that’s because the time it takes to throw a grenade is very short, meaning it’s less punishing being locked in that throw animation. Something definitely needs to be done about it.

Ultimately I like the idea of friendly fire being on, and for ranked it’s an absolute must. I think that for social, though, you’re just opening the floodgates for teamkilling and griefing.

You know, that’s another thing they could fix, maybe if you walk through someone, it should damage your shields a bit. Make you think twice about just sitting inside one another in a corner.
