Should 343 give Halo Infinite a complete do-over?

I feel like Halo Infinite needs a complete do-over in its gameplay, campaign, multiplayer, and etc. I feel like 343 was cutting corners in making the game. It feels like 343 ruined many things that could have benefited Infinite.

In campaign, 343 just killing off Cortana, a crucial character that developed over the story of Halo from an UNSC Ai paired with the Master Chief in saving humanity to being what could of been one of the most interesting main villains in Halo, it demolished the character that was built. Also it feels like 343 made the Banished to be the generic Covenant Enemy in Halo Infinite rather than the renegade faction that divided from the Covenant’s rule which was shown in Halo Infinite. This could be also hinted by most of the banished enemies appearing more like Covenant than Banished.

Also just making most of the enemies just the banished kind of feels repetitive

they should have made the banished more harder than the covenant. like isabel said, the covenant had 2 enemies. humans and banished. and the banished cut a swath through the covenants supplies so the banished shouldn’t be easy as cake.

should’ve given them SPARTAN ai

I’d rather see what a different studio can do with the Halo franchise. I’ve seen enough of 343’s work.

The micro transactions and battle pass ruins the potential of customization and multiplayer. Instead of your hard work, skill and strategy being rewarded, it’s now mostly paying to get anything, making it feel that the hard work you do is just thrown away

The plasma pistol should have its emp overcharge on vehicles returned, as the plasma pistol emp was reasonable as hold the charge drains the battery. The chopper should have its anti vehicle ram boost because the spikes and blades shouldn’t just be for display. The wasp should have its energy shields back as it protects the light fragile aircraft where it’s thrusters can be sniped.

Weapons like the DMR, plasma repeater, Storm Rifle, needle rifle, focus rifle, beam rifle, hunter assault cannon, missile pod, rocket pod, flamethrower, fuel rod gun, Spartan laser, grenade launcher, concussion rifle, brute shot, blood fuel rifle, machine pistol, SAW, sticky detonator, Railgun, plasma caster, plasma launcher, light rifle, scatter shot, incineration cannon, fire bomb, splinter grenade, pulse grenade, covenant carbine, SMG, Magnum, Automag, silenced SMG, brute plasma rifle, plasma rifle, binary rifle, boltshot, suppressor, mauler, target Designator or locator, spiker, and pump shotgun should return as it will bring variety to the gameplay in campaign and multiplayer.

Wishful thinking at best. They might add things, but a complete reproduction is borderline impossible. They barely managed to get Halo Infinite out the first time.

Maybe that’s because of the micro transactions and battle pass.

Those two things undoubtedly took time and energy to get working, but on the grander scale, the biggest impact on the game was (and prominently is) an unhealthy reliance on contractors and poor leadership in the workplace.

It feels like 343 was are more art and animation producers than game developers.

going on a self made short theory here
(sorry joining party late)

i suspect them to somehow bring the original Cortana back, even if it is in the psychically and in code connected/fused with the current AI (weapon/cortana.2)
[“dust and echo’s data gather side missions” - ““it is a open world after all with linear aspects””]
story progression could be good =]

also the covenants rule was split with the 3 prophets deaths
the prophet [Truth] was killed by the arbiter.
the prophet [Mercy] was taken control by the flood, and the Gravemind.
the prophet [Regret] was killed by the chief.

with this

the Covenant as an entity was completely destroyed!
(like a government collapsing and falling to new leader) things then changed -
new factions born, old factions die, some old factions find new ways to survive.
“this is evolution my friend”
so the most factions from back then are also destroyed,
remanence may remain, but not all of them, will they come back?
we never know. this is something for 343 to decide.

i dont mind i honestly enjoyed the campaign its a little different but i do support it.

if they need to revamp anything its the multiplayer + gameplay balance (IMO)

The fact that Cortana died offscreen was just insulting. 343 is famous for doing that, and it’s starting to get annoying.

For killing such an important and Major character in the story of Halo offscreen is so insulting what are these ideas that 343 is thinking?

The armor of the grunts, elites, brutes, hunters, and jackals looks more smooth, new, and streamlined like rather than rigid, battle worn, and roughness of the banished, giving the first impression that they are a covenant remnant. But the Grunt Mule, Jega, Hyperius, Tovarus, and Esharum actually look like they are affiliated with the Banished.
