Do you think 343 should change the game to please the complainers? It seems to me like these people are the type of people who are never satisfied with anything anyway.
I don’t think they should change anything to please the obvious minority of people who won’t be satisfied anyway. Hundreds of thousands are enjoying the game the way it is.
Sure some technical issues could be sorted out like lag and joining in games but the core mechanics are perfect.
These people who are complaining know nothing about game development. Following their advice could destroy the game. After all that’s exactly what happened To Reach.

How long for? Am bored with it all ready (not like halo 3 that i still play and love today)
What happend to reach will happen to this game very soon. People will get bored and stop playing online, they have messed up here.
432 make a update, But gameplay like HALO 3 keep things the same but add new guns maps and pickups.
You shouldn’t generalize so much! I want the game to change for the better! One small aspect is all I’m asking for! Traditional weapon spawns for the Slayer Pro playlist, and I’m pretty sure the majority of the players who play Slayer Pro would agree with this proposed change.
And I’m not sure what you are referring to with the Halo: Reach bit, they didn’t change anything for a long time, and when they finally did it was pointless because most of the players had already accepted it and moved on to other games.

What makes you think the tons of people that are enjoying it will stop playing anytime soon? Especially if we keep getting maps and dlc.
This game plays 10x better than halo 3. That game was so boring in comparison it’s not even funny.
People on these forums are often just like those on Reach’s forums. The game released (10 days ago mind you) and they are bashing every possible piece of the game down to the most insignificant things.
Ex:/ weapon X is OP, Vehicle Y is UP. Loadouts suck, this is COD in Space.
These people are Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 fanatics that will not give 343 the chance to bring Halo into a new light. If they want Halo 2 or 3 gameplay then they need to go and play those games not complain here until 343 wrongfully decides to modify everything and destroy Halo 4. Before you know it they will make changes and then people will ask for the old settings back or even more changes until it is a perfect replica of that which is Halo 2 or 3 gameplay. THIS IS NOT HALO 2 OR 3 AND NEVER WILL BE.
343 please dismiss these people who just want to complain. You have done a great job with Halo 4 and although yes, there are some lag things and odd glitches that need tweaking and I’m sure in due time we will be rewarded for patience with a fix. Overall I think the majority would agree. These fanatics of Halo 2 and 3 should be banished from these forums and back to the Halo 2 and 3 forums from whence they came so that 343 doesn’t kill their series trying to please these people.
The majority like Halo 4 and it is not COD in space. Let it go people and go back to whatever game will please you. Do not keep pestering 343 with demands for this to be exactly like Halo 2 or 3 with all your classic playlists and such. If 343 did that then Halo 4 would be just like COD. Do you really want that guys. You guys really can’t be serious.
I don’t have many concerns with Halo 4 only a few; instant spawn is disconcerting when a defeated enemy can instant spawn and kill their last target before that target’s shield is restored. Also the join in progress is annoying when it occurred more than once, hopping into 4 game in a row on the losing side just makes me want to quit. I have already quit a higher percentage of game in Halo 4 than I did in Halo Reach. These are my two main concerns about Halo 4.

Actually, that’s pretty much 90% of any official game forums. Too many kids making the largest generalisations, have to find places without the kids to get any worthwhile intelligent and meaningful discussion.
Game is fine as it is, so far the Multiplayer is the funnest of the series, even though I am still in love with Halo 2, it also has the fast paced action of Halo 2 so that is a huge plus.
The people you see complain are generally the same people who have their account banned already or just have to have something to say to get some attention. I dont see really anyone with intelligence making a actual complaint against the game. Anyone who says Instant Respawn allows you to just spawn and kill the last person you fought immediately is completely wrong.
People will continue to complain, and the best thing to do with those people is to block them, and report them, or simply ignore their stupidity.
Those people will never be happy with any game, much less Halo, something will always be wrong due to their imagination, and need to have everything their way.
You also have to realize, most of the people complaining are younger than 17 years old and are playing a game that is not rated for them to play anyway, even more reason to ignore them.
343i doesnt need to change one -Yoinking!- thing about Halo 4. LEAVE IT LIKE IT IS! All the fanboys wanted Reach to change and it just make it wrose. If you dont like Halo 4 dont TRY to change it. GO MAKE AND PLAY YOUR OWN DAMN GAME AND LEAVE HALO 4 ALONE!!!
Todays game market is different, with patches everyone expects a game to be fixes and changes to suit their tastes. When Halo 1 came out that didn’t exist on console and you dealt with what you had. The game set down the rules and you adapted, it is the way gaming has always been until recently. I don’t remember growing up and thinking something was unfair in a game and expecting it to change. That is so ridiculous. I would adapt, get better, and beat it, and feel better for doing so.

I disagree, I think the majority was happy with reach when it was released. The complainers took over the forum and forced bungie to make changes that drive away the majority and still didn’t please the complainers.
The same thing will happen to this game if 343 caters to the minority.
