Should 343 bring back on map Anit-Vehicle weapons?

I say this because I believe that small arms like BRs, DMRs and ARs do way too much damage to Medium/Large vehicles. I think they should do normal damage to everything else, but should have no effect on vehciles unless they are litterally already on fire and broken up. They should bring back the Missile Launcher as an Anit-Vehicle weapon and let Plasma pistols spawn on map for BTB games and maybe re-introduce lock-on rockets for ground vehicles and Air, in Halo 2 it never really seemed OP and it made vehicle combat more interesting, you had to be a good Banshee pilot to dodge rockets at the right time, or they would just clip the edge of your wing, or come back to greet you later. The same applied with vehicles. What do you think?

Get rid of the Plasma Pistol’s ability to disable player-controlled vehicles, buff all the vehicles so they take less damage from all small arms weapons, including Plasma Grenades and Sniper Rifles, and improve vehicle handling so they’re easier to drive and the Warthog and Ghost don’t flip over so easily. Problem solved.

I think these changes should be applied to Spartan Ops and Campaign as well, because most vehicles are crap if you’re playing on anything higher on normal.

What ‘problem’? Are you stuck with only idiots driving Warthogs? Or people not supporting tanks and wraiths?

Vehicles are not meant to be super immune god-machines, and it sucks bad when they are. There are always other issues, like what moron put a tank on a really close range map like Exile, or left Warthogs off Complex and yet added Ghosts which can kill people from a one meter standing start with a ram.

The problem with vehicles is that everybody starts with PPs and stickies. PPs aren’t so bad because the Operator perk mostly negates their effect.

Making stickies a frequent ordnance drop (the random map one, not the killstreak one) might be a good idea.

I have to agree. Vehicle combat in Halo 3 was the best. You could drive in a hog and survive the entire match if you had a good drives/gunner and get a Perfection

Exactly. Reach introduced the anti-tank rifle (sniper) and Designated Everything Rifle (dmr) to work against vehicles. Worst decision ever.

Scratch that, bringing it back was the worst decision ever.
