Should 343 add servers with money from Reqs?

I read a few post here talking about players who live closer to the dedicated servers have an advantage. It does seem like it.

I tested my connection on www.azurespeed.com and got around 100ms.

I think that using money from Req points players buy to fund more servers would be a good solution.

I understand the sentiment, but they need to spend the money on fixing current issues before spending it on a site for better ping. It kind of sucks, but it is managable.

Not having enough servers is an issue. If people can’t play the game, all other issues are petty. Tom… Petty.

Agreed on this one. Though for higher division players the lag and missed shots with perfect aim and hit shots with missed aim both wreak havoc at the moment.

Im not saying it is unimportant or petty, but the problem doesn’t stem from the servers themselves it stems from how the servers are designed and managed. Yes, you will naturally have higher ping the further away from the server you are, but they have multiple servers already and this is still happening. Adding more servers won’t fix the problem it will just hide it except for the few “edge cases” where players are furthest from multiple sites. Fix the code, find the errors, figure out what is hogging the resources that is causing this to happen (which I should add didnt explode until after Christmas), THEN put up more servers to relieve the load. If your cup has a hole on the bottom of it you don’t keep filling it up.
