I’m not a fan of Halo 5 but it’s still part master chief game.
For the love of god, no. I wish this topic would stop cropping up. Adding it to the game would only increase the amount of problems 343i are trying to fix. The game is barely holding together as it is and Halo 5: Guardians is already on the Xbox One.
The only people who want it added to the Collection are PC players who don’t seem to grasp that a separate port of the game is just as good if not better, that it wouldn’t have a negative impact on the Collection, and that they would get the full experience rather than just a “lite” version which it undoubtedly would be if it got added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

While I agree with you about it being a negative impact on the Collection, I still think they could add it to PC. Literally the one and only Halo game not on PC. I would like to see it get ported to PC but not added to the MCC.

No. It focuses too much on other things. Plus, its not as good as Halo 4

I don’t really see Halo 5: Guardians being added to the Halo Master Chief Collection. The only way I can see Halo 5: Guardians getting a release on PC is that if it’s getting an individual release on Steam.
I don’t understand why people don’t want it in MCC. If it affected nothing else negatively, I think it would be ideal to have every Halo experience in one place other than Infinite. Just like everything already in MCC: if you don’t like it, don’t play it. If Infinite is a massive success and there’s just a general desire for Halo in the culture again, I don’t see why putting resources into getting H5 in MCC would be a bad thing. Do I think it’s anywhere near the top of priorities right now? No. But I do hope to see it added one day.

Nah, to be honest I don’t feel that Halo 5: Guardians needs to be on the MCC. Support for MCC is slowly coming to a close and that seems like a pretty big task.
You can launch Halo 5: Guardians from the Extras menu on MCC (unless 343i moved/removed it) if you have it installed digitally on console.
Having H5 included would literally double the file size of the game. H5 is pretty much equal to every single halo game on MCC combined in terms of file size.
Master Chief collection would literally be over 200Gb and as much as we all may love halo, that’s just pure overkill for a console HDD or SSD.

I think they should take Halo 4 out of the MCC.
I would welcome it. Just to officially have every Halo accessible on PC. 5 is the only one to my knowledge that PC players can’t get. It is not my favorite Halo game personally but I acknowledge that it is an important piece of the mainline story leading up to Infinite so I would appreciate it being available on PC.
To the collection? No, should it be released on pc? Yes, I hate having a hole in my collection, even digitally
