I would edit your post to remove that gamertag, as it’s against the rule of the forum to call out other users. If you think a player was cheating or generally not being a nice player, you can file a report against their gamertag. Should be able to pick them out of your recent games, make sure to set them as a non-preferred player as well to reduce the chance of meeting them again.

Good morning.

To start, as stckrboy stated, it is against the Halo Waypoint forum rules to specifically call out another player. Please remove the said player’s name from your post.

I’m trying to understand your situation now. You said in a game of Grifball, he kept killing you. You mean he was spawn camping you and kept killing you as your respawned? If this is the case, he was boosting his K/D via spawncamping, which boosting is considered a form of cheating. He also violated Xbox LIVE’s Code of Conduct by exploiting the spawn system in grifball to boost this way, as well as degrading LIVE’s service for you by not playing the game properly in this fashion, which is considered griefing, trolling, and unsporting behavior. After all, it is called Grifball, not ‘spawncampkill’ ball.

From Section F of the Code of Conduct: -“Do not take any action to cause degradation of service for Microsoft or other users, including but not limited to network interference or manipulation.”

From Section F of the Code of Conduct: -“Do not exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches.”

With that said, this is right from the Code of Conduct page on how to handle such players:

From the LIVE’s Code of Conduct Page:
-If you encounter an obnoxious player:
-File a complaint if you believe the player is violating the Code of Conduct.
-Give negative feedback and/or Avoid This Player. This can be done by selecting the player’s profile and choosing the Feedback option.

Does he deserve to be banned? It’s upto Microsoft to determine that once you followed these steps, however I’m sure if he keeps doing that to other players in other games, it will catch upto him.
