The only thing i want to play is shotty snipers in halo 5 (when we look at the gametypes we have had so far in the game)… I’m so bored with the default gametypes in this game! Slayer is slayer (it’s okey), Breakout is kinda fun - but not in the long run… Swat is good when we have the BR/ DMR, but every second game i play of it - it’s with the magnums, and that is pure lame! FFA is pretty boring cus it’s only slayer… No more Slayer BR/ DMR, Oddball, KoTH or anything… Just normal slayer on most boring maps The arena is the best gametype cus it have variation in it like strongholds and CTF - but still… the maps in this game are not even close to H2/H3/ Reach’s maps… I will not trash talk warzone - cus that is pretty fun indeed (but not in the long run) 3 games enough in a row in that gametype. As a big halo player i have loved every halo game online! But i hyped myself so damn high up on this game, that i pretty much just got very upset with the lack of good maps, good playlists and stuff like that.
I have played Black Ops 3 the last days and having a blast with it… I will still keep playing cod over halo 5 till halo 5 get some good gametypes! If Shotty snipers going to get permanent - count me in! Cus that was pretty damn fun - the sniper is solid in this game! I know i know H5 is just out, and gametypes will be added later on… But just give us some FFA objectivs or any sniper gametype soon (end of the month maybe?)
I am totally with you on that one, they need to keep Shotty Snipers as a normal playlist game type, I mean why would they do this anyways?! It makes no sense what so ever, if they wanna keep ppl happy and playing they need more playlists and then keep them, not this weekend crap! So yeah thumbs down so far to the new Halo 5 crap game, going to Black Ops 3 like every sane person should do until Halo gets there crap in order!!
More playlists would definitely be better than what we have, but I would like to see staples like doubles, objective, btb, way before we get into niche weapon based playlists like shotty/snipes.
I agree! It was one of my platinum ranks, and I had more fun in it than the standard Slayer list. I know it is a niche, but so is SWAT, and to some extent more of the objective modes.
At least put it in the swat ration (since it is very similar, it would break up the swatnum monotony).

Everyone is on a even playing field, no hunting down for the OP weapons. Aim for the head and let the good times roll. But for snipers I wish the maps were tad bigger.

Team Doubles should be permanent.
Team Snipers should have a Shotty Snipers variant. Snipers only (Sniper/Beam Rifle) as the other.
Team Slayer should have a BR/SMG variant as well.
