Shots fired, Hit Percentage

In Halo 2, there was an amazing statistic in the post-game carnage report that told you how many shots you fired, how many shots hit, the hit percentage, and head-shots hit.

Regardless of other statistics, this was an amazing way to tell the consistency of someone’s battle rifle. I really hope it makes a return in Halo 4.

Back in the Halo 2 days, if you had 75%+ hit percentage then you were a god. /nostalgia

So no one remembers this? Anyone agree? Disagree? Shameless bump…

Don’t bump threads, especially your own.

Also, I never cared for my halo stats, only my level.

Not really. This stat fails in one area though: Suppression in objective games, sometimes I will spam a weapon in an area to repel an enemy while I’m protecting an objective or, a person holding an objective.

Suppression in Halo really only works with a warthog/turret.

It would be cool to see this again i guess, i mean, there’s no reason not to bring it back.

This stat wouldn’t show any skill at all. It’s so random. But it is interesting to see how many shots you fired. Especially in your whole Halo 4 career.

You’re kidding right?

There’s no direct correlation that says accuracy = skill

Yuppers. I’d love for this stat to come back. Always wondered why it was missing in Halo 3, and it didn’t return in Reach ;_;

I concur OP. It was cool to see your accuracy.

Oh I get it. You’re talking about vanilla Reach were a player with bad accuracy can beat a player with better accuracy by spamming.

Nah, just because you can aim doesn’t mean you’re good.

Well if they take out bloom, which I’m hoping they do, then I would love to have it back. Now with bloom people don’t even try to aim and people get lucky kills by spamming their weapon. But I would definetely be happy to have it back. It could definetetly help me calibrate my sensativity.

I miss this stat.
