Does 343 intend on removing shotguns from Breakout at any point? Breakout used to be one of me and my friends’ favorite playlists and now none of us enjoy playing it. Everyone having a shotgun seems to have completely eliminated a part of the game that we loved. It was a highly competitive game type but now everyone has a close range power weapon. Why did they even do this? Will they change this?
I don’t know but I do really hope they take out the shotgun it ruined the playlist for me for when I did play it
Please remove it, people are just camping with the shotgun in every corner.
I like both variations of breakout personally but I 100% agree camping corners with shotguns is a massive turn off, Is there another way you guys may find entertainment value out of the gamemode?
I can see how people like one or the other, but I think 1 and 2 are really quite different. Why not offer two separate playlists? Surely that couldn’t be too hard… yes, you’d have less population in both, but Breakout is pretty popular so I don’t think it would be a problem.
I prefer it the way it used to be, but I do like having shields. That’s the only real positive for me. I am not a fan of the shotgun starts myself.
I played breakout recently after not playing for month and was like woah what is this it is not breakout, it feels way more casual than normal breakout. It was pretty fun if you think of it as like a custom made action sack thing, but it should not be called breakout and old breakout would be fun to play again.
I mostly prefer the way Breakout currently is, but the Shotgun starts really do need to go. They feel too variable in power and range to be a decent starting weapon.
