They are both so good, I can’t decide.
Shotgun because its the only weapon I know how to properly use.
Unfortunately the scattershot (although it fires faster) does not pack as much of a punch as the shotgun.
I really enjoy using the scattershot.
Shotgun if you can hit properly from close range. If you mishit a lot the scattershot is better as it shoots faster.
Scatter shot shoots faster, but the whole point of a close range weapon like that is to one shot kill someone. For that reason I definitely prefer the Shotgun because it packs a much greater punch.
shotgun because the scattershot doesn,t qualify as a “shotgun” since it always does the same amount of damage and that damage is like 20% of a real “shotgun”
The shotgun to be absolutely sure, but the Scattershot does sometimes take me by surprise when someone uses it on me while I wield the shotgun. It gets in there and burns me to a crisp before I can pul the trigger
Scattershot, i like to combine it with mid range in secondary DMR/ Covernant Carbine

i just started using the shotgun a bit more and i got a beautiful KD of 18 with it. i guess i like both now and you’re right.

True - Ghosts especially. just corner them and have good movement (dodging skills)

scatter shot more speed - shotgun more power
scattershot is my favorite, I like the disintegration

I prefer the Scattershot because of its overall appearance, they both perform the same to me and the Scattershot just looks sleeker.
