Looks very similar to the Reach shotgun, I hope the update it like they did with the Assault Rifle.
You saw the cutscene in the demo. It was unfinished, and likely is the shotgun as well.

Actually, the old one is pretty slim, but then again, in Halo 2/3, it’s not held the same way as in CE/Reach. The fact that it looks similar to Reach’s shotty is not surprising at all. At least to me it isn’t but they are different because Reach’s shotty has red sights, this one has blue.
Being so close to release date, it will probably not change.
I miss the 12 or was it 14 shot clips for the shotgun
