Shot through walls and behind cover, I'm officially tired of it

10 years ago I wasn’t even aware of 343’s existence. I was 11 and playing any video game I could get my hands on. I just happened to stumble upon Halo Reach and Halo 4. If you asked me about 343 10 years ago, I would’ve responded to you like “Who is 343?”

Uh? They were guided with Halo MCC and it turned out to be a better game than anyone thought it would be.

Hell, I even think that the Flood Firefight updates are trials for when it finally hit infinite in like 2-3 years give or take.

I’m confident in who I am. Are you?

That’s because they’re a troll.

This might be the only thing you’ve ever said that’s correct, because it’s true. It is absolutely true.

Even still, why pick fights with me? Do I look like an easy target to you?

Because boy howdy, I am not.

343 hired and outsourced Splash Damage, Certain Affinity, and Ruffian Games to fix MCC. 343’s in-house devs had NOTHING to do with MCC once it was launched.

Ruffian added Reach, and Online’s content to the Collection, Certain Affinity and Splash damage continued adding more content and bug fixes including gamemodes and maps.

343 has done absolutely 0 to fix MCC besides outsource everything to far better developers.
I really don’t understand how you thought 343 was capable of fixing the MCC when it took 4 whole years to get it to be playable, and they went from being super incompetent giving 1000’s of excuses on how the code is corrupted and Bungie was too harsh while making the games, to making the MCC work flawlessly.

So you really don’t understand how I thought 343, whose name is plastered all over the credits and intro cinematics, was capable of fixing MCC?

Gee I guess we’ll never know.

For being a #1 issue, I have yet to experience being killed behind a wall.

To me, this is sounding more and more like personal issues rather than a game one…

Yet 343 are still trying to fix the Desync issues

Catalyst is so bad, that map better not step anywhere near tournaments. I’d rather play Bazaar 40x more.

It’s been 6 months and they haven’t fixed it up even a little bit. They have too many issues that they caused to work on.

Venture I like your posts usually but come on. This is a well documented issue that even frakkin’ 343i has addressed happened. You have GOT to be joking.

IT IS REALLY NOT GOOD. It feels like a Halo 3 map and that is NOT A GOOD THING.

Every online Halo title has client side authority netcode. I think what amazes me, is how much this is a problem in Infinite, when it seems so minor in the MCC/H5. If anything MCC’s client side authority is more of a suggestion given how often blood shots still come up in H2C.

I am no networking expert, but you have to wonder what Infinite is trying to do differently for what benefit.

That’s crazy, I didn’t know that. Same thing with Halo Wars 2 as well. It was all Creative Assembly.

Venture doesn’t care. Lmao.

He just wants to become the biggest menace on the forums.

I gave up and uninstalled on my Xbox One X 6+ weeks.

80% of my matches have 250+ ms ping times because Bungle 343 server thinks that European servers are closer to me in Alberta Canada than a Seattle server. The Seattle server delivers 25 ms ping times, but I only get ti 20% of the time. The rest of the matches are unplayable at 250+ ms ping times (that’s 4 fps, folks - some RTS games are faster than that!).

On top of this, we have De-Synch which isn’t even on 343’s radar at this point. I guess they spent all their Development time writing an article about it, but forgot to try and fix it.

Until they grow up, add back in Manual server Selection (as was in H5 and MCC), the game will remain uninstalled on my Xbox.

Your ears were sticking out

Lol, do you play the game like you participate in these forums? i.e. standing in the middle of things and waiting for people to take shots at you.
Try running for cover, it happens all the time. If you deny this then I question the viability of any of your statements.

This game is stuffed in so many ways.

Does anybody actually play Ranked Solo/Duo Controller? I enter the playlist. A couple of nights ago, waiting 45 minutes, couldn’t find a game. Was actually falling asleep. Switched it off.

Last night, a bit better, although was taking anywhere from 5 - 15 minutes to find a game, and when one was finally found. every game was over 200 milliseconds. Just can’t compete! Enemy has already seen me and started shooting before they are even on screen. Gives a new meaning to melee lunge! I’ll be lucky if I make plastic rank by the end of the season.

Now see that’s a good joke.

To quote a show

Umm maybe but the way 343i have been handling things these days it kind of feels more like there more of a Publisher then an actual developer team. Not sure I’d go as far as saying 343i did 0 work since that seems doubtful but a lot of people seem to think most of the work was outsourced.

Though I don’t think 343i have done a good job managing the Halo IP since they took over due to the problems effecting the games and the shows and the general marketing.

From what ive read a crazypercentage of the team appear to be freelance or external studios its hard to discern how many are on bug squash and how many are on co tent development at this stage and if infinite is the only product in the works at 343i.
The sync issues are bad and need attention but at this point im at the stage where i believe slipspace is a minefield of half baked engine features and not a great foundation for the franchise.
