So, I’m just wondering. Does magnetism drop slightly when a Spartans shield is broken? Or is it that people just can’t hit the head? Curious to know because my mate doesn’t think it’s his ability but rather a decrease in magnetism.

I didn’t realize that the gel layer performed a mechanistic function in multiplayer.
Unless you erroneously typed that when you meant shields.
Gel layer? You should brush up on your lore because that’s on the inside of the suit lol

Shut up, guys. TRUE Halo fans know that Spartans roll around in a puddle of gel before each mission!
Lol on the gel layer, Spartans have to shower too!
I highly doubt energy shields (which I believe is what you meant) would change magnetism at all. Even if it did shields are a tiny layer around the armor. It really comes down tone’s aiming more then anything.

OOF, was up late last night, even when I read that back to myself I face palmed and had a giggle just now, so yes the shields on a Spartan, does that magnetism drop or is it all in his head?
[EDIT]Gonna change my name to Prophet of Get Good now
I think your friend is just missing his shots. Getting the last shot can be harder than it seems when you’re already in a long gunfight, getting shot at, strafing yourself and the other person is also trying not to die by strafing as well.
Having less bullet magnetism would imply that he’s missing anyway since he wants the bullet to curve into the person. He might actually mean aim assist which helps move and keeps the reticule on a player’s body. He could always test that himself in a custom game if he really believes that. He could see if the reticule friction is less or the assist effect requires it being closer on someone with no shields before it kicks in or if the bullet magnetism is farther, less or the same on someone with no shields.

No, name yourself Prophet of Gel.
