Sprint speed based on percent of shield health remaining.- Spartan Abilities tied to Sprint can be used as long as some shield health remains.- 343i’s current balances removed in place of the balances mentioned above.Ground Pound:
Strength of Ground Pound determined by the amount of time the Ground Pound button is held.- Recovery time also dependent on the amount of time the Ground Pound button is held.Clamber:
Remove the option allowing players to hold the jump button to clamber. Players must press the jump button at the right time to Clamber, making it more skill based.Spartan Charge:
Players must press the Thruster Pack button followed by the melee button in order to execute a Spartan Charge.Smart Scope:
Holographic sights for all weapons (except for weapons that need scopes, such as the DMR and Sniper).- Ability to toggle between the Smart Scope mentioned above and the classic zoom.
Spartans enter map and assume tactical positions (ready to engage in battle).- Removal of the R and B behind the Spartans at the start of each match.Game Ends:
Winning Spartans shorn successfully exiting the map, aligning with Halo’s theme of living to fight another day.- Removal of the R and B behind the players at the end of the map.- Spartan armor looks war-torn for emphasis.Kill Cams:
After dying, players would be able to select if they would like to view the kill cam or their teamates.- The overhead view of the player’s corpse would show until they selected an option.Weapon Redesigns:
More realistic armor pieces. - Visors should seem as if they can be seen through (unlike Halo 4’s Wetwork). - War-torn armor after being attacked.Lighting and Colors:
Maps should be lightened a little. - The blue team’s color should be slightly lighter.
This is some really good feedback. It’s nice that you included details in the other thread as well. Hope 343i gets around to looking at this. Keep up the good work TARGETL0CKED.
The Announcer should also make a return to the Halo 3/Halo: Reach style. The announcer in those games sounded much better, was more serious, and rewarded you more because of how little he would announce medals. It was rewarding to hear the announcer because the announcer would not constantly shower you, the player, with accolades like “Purrrrr-fect”, “HAilllll marRRY”, “SNAP-shot”, “CluuussTER LUuck”, “Brawler”, “Hat Triiiick”, or “Top Gun”. The multi-kill announcements also definitely need to be re-recorded, or simply pulled from Halo 3/Halo: Reach. Halo 5’s “DUUble Kyill” is so whiny, over-excited, and fluctuates too much in tone of voice. It needs to go.

> I’m guessing it was a fail to move your last post to the H5 beta section.
I moved the full-length community-based feedback thread into the Halo 5 beta section because I figured 343i would be more likely to look there since it contains legitimate feedback concerning game mechanics, bugs, etc. I decided to make a shortened version and put it here since this is where the majority of Halo players discuss various topics pertaining to Halo 5. I also made this thread shorter in response to many claims that the full-length thread was to long and hard to digest.

Thanks. Hopefully more people get around to reading this thread, especially 343i.
