The day after this game came out I had 20+ friends on at any given time playing this game. Now, 4 days post launch and I have 2 friends playing this game on a weekend! Not to mention I’m seeing a lot of people back in Reach. This is very sad. Anyone think this is a prelude of things to come?
This is how things always are when a Halo game is released. A week before it is released and a few months after, people will whine like hell and then stop. It happended with H3 and Reach and it will happen with H4. I’m sure doomsday threads like yours were everywhere back then as well. Most Halo 4 fans just ignore these forums for a while as the kind of reaction we see here become the norm.
First of all, we don’t whine; we point out issues with the game. Just because you allow things to happen to yourself or things that you like without speaking up doesn’t mean all of us do. On a side note, a lot of my friends have gone back to Halo: Reach as well.
I mean I understand that its very different but it’s really quite hard to judge a game so quickly. So far I’m not sure what to think about it, but I do know that it’s quite fun when playing with friends. I hope it doesn’t turn everyone away.
